If you are visiting while the new Grand Egyptian Museum is being built in Cairo, you should research what is being taken to be displayed. Most of the artifacts from King Tut (and his mummy) were not there, but they would still sell you the entrance tickets to that area. Look into what tombs are worth checking out when you’re visiting or you may spend way more money than you need to.
