Day 1 - 15 May 2021
Luxor Railway Station
Content: Arriving from Cairo to Luxor. We decided to travel by train, because it is the most convenient way. The price is good too.
Pyramisa Hotel Luxor
Content: We checked in to this amazing hotel and watched the sunset from our balcony. We chose this hotel because it is right on the Nile, the view is incredible, and breakfast was delicious😋

Day 2 - 16 May 2021
Pyramisa Hotel Luxor
Content: We decided to hang out by the pool in the first part of the day. We visited spa in our hotel and ordered food. This hotel has two pools, spa, and absolutely friendly staff.
Sofitel Winter Palace Luxor
Content: In the evening we went to watch the sunset at the one of the most beautiful hotels in Luxor. We also had an amazing dinner there.

Day 3 - 17 May 2021
Karnak
Content: We hired a private car to drive us to Karnak Temple. The ride was about 30 minutes. The entrance fee is 200 Egyptian pounds. When you enter the temple there will be several guides who offer their services. We decided to hire a guide for 1 hour. It cost us 100 Egyptian pounds. In order to see everything and to take some photos you will probably need 2 hours total.

Content: After visiting the temple we came back to our hotel, ordered food from the restaurant and relaxed.
Luxor City
Content: In the evening we hired a horse carriage and they took us around Luxor, we visited local spice market and fruit market.

Day 4 - 18 May 2021
Valley of the Kings
Content: One of the highlights of this trip was visiting Valley of the Kings. We hired a private car to get there. It takes about 45 minutes one way. The entrance fee is 240 Egyptian pounds. This includes visiting 3 tombs. However, if you want to visit the tomb of Tutankhamen, you will have to pay extra fee.
Valley of the Queens
Content: After visiting Valley of the Kings you can stop by the Valley of the Queens. The entrance fee is 170 Egyptian pounds.
Mamma Mia! Luxor
Content: After visiting the Valley of the Kings we came back to town and stopped off at one of our favorite restaurants for lunch.
Luxor Felucca Tour
Content: In the evening we took a felucca sunset tour right outside of our hotel. We paid 150 Egyptian pounds for one hour.

Day 5 - 19 May 2021
Luxor Railway Station
Content: We decided to take a two hour train to Aswan. It is a two hour train ride, it's comfortable, affordable, had AC.

Hapi Hotel
Content: We checked in to our hotel, unpacked and did some research about going to Abu Simbel Temple. We chose this hotel because of its location and price. The room was simple, but clean.

Content: In the evening we decided to go down the Nile on a felucca.

Old Cataract Hotel
Content: We came to Old Cataract Hotel by felucca. The reason why we wanted to visit this hotel is because long time ago Vincent Churchill and Nicolas II had tea there and enjoyed the view of feluccas passing by.

Day 6 - 20 May 2021
Abu Simbel Temples
Content: Our hotel helped us to organize a trip to Abu Simbel temple. A mining bus picked us up from the hotel at 4 am. The ride is 4 hours one way. We had 2 hours to spend there. The entrance fee is 200 Egyptian pounds, plus there will be a small fee for a camera or GoPro.

Day 6 - 20 May 2021
Aswan Railway Station
Content: After coming back from the temple we decided to catch the train back to Luxor, stay couple nights there, relax and go back to Cairo by train.
