Day 1 - 8 May 2021
Content: Pyramids are must see in Egypt! We were staying in Cairo. In the morning we ordered Uber and went to Giza. The Uber ride was about 30 minutes and the cost is about $4-5. When we arrived it was already hot. That is why we hired a horse carriage to go to each pyramid. The house carriage costs 300 Egyptian pounds per 2 people. The entrance fee was 200 Egyptian pounds per person. We really enjoyed our visit, the guide took our photos and told us a lot of valuable information.

Content: After visiting the pyramids we decided to go to a museum and see the mummies. If you are in Cairo don't miss this place. They relocated all the mummies to one spot, it was absolutely incredible experience. You are not allowed to film though. Only on the second floor where all the ancient artifacts are.

Content: We came back to our hotel and rested till the evening as in the evening the heat is bearable. We choose to stay in this hotel because of its location and the price. We were staying downtown. The staff was really nice and they let us keep our bags at the hotel while we were traveling to other cities in Egypt

Content: We went to this place for dinner. We liked it a lot, and was coming back here several times. The prices are good, and the food is great, especially lasagna.

Content: This morning we decided to have breakfast at this cafe. It has a huge variety of coffee and breakfast. It is also knows for good WiFi, as internet in Egypt is not very good.

Content: This place we recommend if you need your nails done or haircut. The quality is great, and it fast.

Content: We went for dinner to a new restaurant and walked the streets after.

Content: We decided to visit this museum because it has Tutankhamen's gold mask that weights 50kg, pure gold. Absolutely incredible. The museum is very big, you will probably spend here about 2 hours or more.

Content: We were walking the streets and found this place where all the locals eat. We tried it and absolutely loved it.

Content: In the evening we decided to walk the city and came by this Square. The interesting this is that police does not allow to take photos here, we don't know why.
Day 4 - 11 May 2021
Content: We took a train from Cairo to Alexandria. It was cheap, convenient, and comfortable. The only thing was they were replacing tracks and it tool longer to get there. They do have a food cart on the train, so you can by some snacks or coffee.

Content: We checked in to our hotel and decided to go and explore the city, because we planned to stay only one night in Alexandria. We chose this hotel because of the location, view, and good reviews.
Content: As we were staying in Alexandria only for one day we decided that the best place to visit would be the library. The entrance fee is 70 Egyptian pounds.
Day 5 - 12 May 2021
Content: After spending a day in Alexandria we went on further. We took a bus to Siwa. It is a 9 hour bus ride. The bus was comfortable, we had two stops on our way for about 20 minutes each. The ticket you can buy on the same day before departure. It costs around 150 Egyptian pounds.

Content: We checked in to our hotel. The hotel is one of the best hotels in Siwa, we paid $40 per night, it is actually the average price for the room with AC. The owner was nice and did us an upgrade.
Content: This was our favorite restaurant. We would go here for lunch and dinner. The food is very delicious, the price is good, and they have a great variety of food choice.
Day 6 - 13 May 2021
Content: We hired a driver from our hotel to take us to Salt Lakes. It takes about 20 minutes to get there. The thing is you should stay in the water no longer than 20 minutes, and make sure to bring extra water with you to rinse off.
Content: On our way back from salt lakes we stop off at this fortress. It costs a couple dollars to get in. The best time to go there though is during the sunset.
Content: For the evening we rented bikes and went to Cleopatra's pool. It is a very beautiful place, we didn't swim there, but locals did. If you want to go there it's better to rent a bicycle or a taxi, because it's too hot and quite far to walk.

Content: We spent the morning by the pool in our hotel. Then we went to town and just looked around before going on the dream trip.

Content: One of the best highlights of our Egypt trip was visiting Sahara desert. We shared the car with two other people and went to Sahara desert in siwa for the sunset. The driver was awesome, he made us enjoy every second of the trip. He also brought some tea and fruits for us. If you are in Siwa this is number one thing to do!
Day 7 - 14 May 2021
Content: From Siwa Bus Station you can go back to Alexandria or straight to Cairo. We took an overnight bus to Cairo. The bus is the great option to travel from siwa.
