Day 1 - 4 Feb 2019
Content: Arrived from NYC to the airport in Cairo and met our guide, Ehab. We stood in line for our Egyptian visa (make sure you have cash for this!) and got our bags. Made our way to find our driver waiting for us.

Content: Although we got stuck in some traffic, we made it to Giza by cab and checked into our hotel. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Tip: ask for a pyramid view room, it’s about $20 USD more and is SO worth it! Best room view I’ve ever had the pleasure of having! 🥰 We turned in early and got a good nights sleep for a big day tomorrow.
Day 2 - 5 Feb 2019
Content: We woke up early and made our way to my top bucket list item! We took our time to explore around the massive pyramid complex. I made sure to take in every second and was truly in awe of the ancient Egyptians! For an additional price, you can get an entry ticket into one of the three pyramids. Tip: if you are claustrophobic in the least, I recommend you don’t do this. The spaces can be tight! We went into the middle pyramid and enjoyed seeing how they looked from the inside. Afterward we took a camel ride into the Sahara to get the best view of the pyramids in the distance. 🐪
Day 2 - 5 Feb 2019
Content: Get a good nights sleep and eat dinner at the hotel restaurant. (It’s delicious!)
Day 3 - 6 Feb 2019
Content: Our driver picked us up bright and early and brought us to the airport to board our flight to Luxor. (Also ancient day Thebes)

Content: We left our bags at the Nile cruise and made our way to the valley of the kings. This is home to some of the most spectacular tombs in the whole world! Some to the most famous Pharaohs of the ancient world had tombs here. We explored the tombs and notice the spectacular detail and color!

Content: After a long day, we checked into our room on the Nile cruise and joined others for a welcome dinner.
Day 4 - 7 Feb 2019
Content: Disembark your boat and make way to Visit the temple of Hatshepsut in the morning. Explore the temple and see all of the beautiful detail and carvings. Tip: If you haven’t read about Hatshepsut before your visit, I highly suggest you do! She has such an incredible history and it’s better to know about it ahead of time so you can really enjoy everything the temple has to offer.
Day 4 - 7 Feb 2019
Content: We made our way back to our cruise, had a lovely dinner and enjoyed floating down the Nile.
Day 5 - 8 Feb 2019
Content: Waking up, we were now in edfu after cruising overnight! We took a horseback carriage to the temple of edfu. Our guide, Alaa taught all about the history of the god Horus. Later we cruised more and visited Kom Ombo temple in the afternoon. Here they found over 200 mummified crocodiles, which you can see some of during your visit!
Day 6 - 9 Feb 2019
Content: In the morning a driver brought us to the airport in Aswan. Here we boarded a flight to Abu simbel.
Day 6 - 9 Feb 2019
Content: Once arriving in Abu simbel, We made our way to the famous Abu Simbel temples. We spent some time Exploring one of the most spectacular temples in all of ancient history.
Content: We went back to the airport and flew back to Cairo.

Content: We were picked up once again at the Cairo airport and brought back to our original hotel in Giza to have one more amazing pyramid room view before our flight out in the morning!
Day 7 - 10 Feb 2019
Content: Wake up to this view of the pyramids. 😍 Say goodbye to Egypt and make your way from giza to Cairo international airport to board your flight home.

Content: We said goodbye to Egypt as we flew back home to New York. It was by far one of the most memorable trips, and we were sad to leave but happy at the amazing experience had!
