Content: Welcome in Cape Town! Or Kaapstad as the South Africans say. With 3 million inhabitants this is the second largest city after Johannesburg. It's a place full of activities and absolutely worth a visit.
Content: Kloof Street is the place to be when you're visiting Cape Town. Never@Home is a great and affordable place to stay in the touristic heart of town. It's a basic hostel with lots of younger travelers to meet.
Content: If you feel like you want a bit more luxury during your Cape Town trip La Grenadine is the perfect hotel for you. It's a little oasis close to the busy streets of Kloof Street area. The gardens are stunning!
Content: The get familiar with Cape Town and create a sense of orientation here, we highly recommend to do the City Tour as soon as possible. Locals will tell you all about the area and take you to some hidden gems in town. A highly recommend tour. You'll get a first impression and a lot of inspiration for the next few days.
Content: Got hungry after your first day? Tigers Milk has several restaurants in Cape Town. One of them is situated on Kloof Street. It has a great atmosphere, amazing burgers and a wide variety of drinks. Especially during the weekends this place is packed with both locals and travelers. You might end up here more than once.

Content: Boulders Beach is probably one of the most famous places in Cape Town. It's home to a huge colony of penguins! A tour will take you here and it's for sure that you will see many many penguins. The beach has beautiful white sand and large rock walls. Very photogenic.

Content: Boulders Beach can be combined with a tour to the world famous Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. A must see when visiting Cape Town! An English speaking guide will take you to Cape Point and do a beautiful hike (medium fitness). You'll learn all about the history of South Africa and enjoy nature at the same time.

Content: Cape Town is surrounded by mountains on one side and the ocean on the other side. From any places in town you'll be able to see the incredible Table Mountain in the background. You can either hike this mountain (good fitness required) or take the convenient Cable Car with stunning views. From the top of the Table Mountain you'll have a dazzling 360 view over town and beyond. You can do this on your own, but a guide is recommended and a great addition to learn more about is special mountain.
Day 3 - 5 Oct 2021
Content: Another beautiful view point is at the top of the Lion's Head Mountain. Completely different from the Table Mountain. Especially at sunset the views are breathtaking. Hiking shoes and medium fitness are required. A guide is important for safety during the way down after sunset.
Day 4 - 6 Oct 2021
Content: Today it's time for one of the best things to do around Cape Town: wine tasting in Stellenbosch! Tours will drive you around in this huge area full of wineries and vineyards. Learn more about the process, history and of course the taste. Sip with stunning views and buy a bottle to take home.

Content: South Africans know how to cook! Learn how to make traditional dishes during a food tour through Cape Town. Locals will teach you how to use traditional ingredients for the best meals. Food is a very important aspect and gives you a better understanding of the culture and society of South Africa.

Content: Nelson Mandela has played a fundamental part in the creation of South Africa nowadays. A must visit to get deeper understanding of this country, is Robben Island. This is where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned.

Content: After your visit to Robben Island, V&A Waterfront is the perfect place to stroll around. Here you'll find plenty of (fish) restaurants and souvenir shops. There's also a wide variety of activities like the aquarium, museums, a ferris wheel and view points. The perfect place to end your last day in Cape Town.
