Day 1 - 3 Jan 2019
Content: We took a 35 hours United Airlines Flight from Los Angeles International Airport to Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport. Small Airport easy to navigate
Content: After renting a car for our entire trip, we took a 20min drive we checked-in to hotel, good location to near attractions and staff was very helpful. Hotel is expensive.
Content: After a long journey had rest and went for a dinner at the restaurant located in the hotel itself, they had varied buffet food and a good alternative.
Day 2 - 4 Jan 2019
Content: There was a buffet in breakfast vast choice of food. After our breakfast we took a 20min drive to Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport, Punta Arena for our next destinantion.

Content: Taking a private chartered we flew for 3hr and reached king George Island, flying upon Antartica was an amazing experience
Content: After completion of embarking formalities, we embarked our Ocean Diamond cruise ship, which is operated by Quark Expedition. The cruise was huge and rooms were very small.
Day 2 - 4 Jan 2019
Content: We explored cruise and took a dinner, there were several restaurants out of which 2 were free & the food was amazing.
Day 3 - 5 Jan 2019
Content: Starting our morning with going towards Half Moon Island. after a short ride the ship was anchored. we were lucky to watch penguins, and sea Elephants.
Content: Took a zodiac Boat to Sporadic Ice where we saw whales patrolling the shores. amazing to see whales.
Content: After watching whales and Weddell Seal, we went back to our cruise from zodiac Boat.
Content: Had Dinner after Exploring the sea Creatures. we had sea food it was amazing but the prawns were not well cooked overall food was good
Day 4 - 6 Jan 2019
Content: After a breakfast we headed towards Neko Harbour. which is in Andword Bay where ships get anchored. the harbour is surrounded by huge icebergs it is very cold not by temperature but by winds blowing around.
Content: This is the place were glacier rises out with impressive force from stoic water. loved dramatic formations of ice.
Content: Took a Kayak Ride which is a small and narrow watercraft, and explored the stunning texture of land and sea. Need to cover face as the winds are freezing.
Content: We Had amazing Kayak ride, and later on returning back to our cruise we had dinner.
Day 5 - 7 Jan 2019
Content: Anchoring our ship at paradise Harbor we which is one of the two natural harbors safe for ship to dock, the idyllic scenery was amazing were the mountains with glaciers reflect in water. Exploration at Paradise Harbor well spent.
Content: Had Dinner at the deck watching folk show performed by experts.
Day 6 - 8 Jan 2019
Content: Leaving Coast of Pleneau and Petermann behind we reached narrowest point of Lemaire Channel.
Content: Took a Kayak and sailed to Gentoo Penguin Colony. which is a breeding colony of Gentoo Penguins. the penguins with orange beak.
Content: After returning our kayak back to ship, we headed towards South Shetland Island, were we passed through Lemaire Channel in search of Weddell seals and Adelie Penguins on the coast line.
Content: As it was our last night at cruise after exploring Antartica it was party time where there were drinks and dance on deck.
Day 7 - 9 Jan 2019
Content: Soon after a breakfast and a soothing cup of coffee we reached our disembarkation point. Taking some good memories with us

Content: we took a Charted flight and headed towards shore from where we had to return back to airport.

Content: Took a 19hrs flight from Presidente Carlos Ibáñez del Campo International Airport to Los Angeles International Airport. the flight was extremely comfortable.
