Content: We reached Chandigarh International Airport, by noon. It was a well-organized airport which was equipped with all facilities except Wi-Fi. We felt a little disappointed. We had lunch from nearby restaurant and headed towards Shimla.

Content: On the way we visited Pinjore garden is also known as Yadvinder Garden which is famous all over the world for its well-maintained greenery. It is a Mugal Garden that expands over a large area. Apart from the garden, it houses a mini zoo. We saw some vendors selling local street foods.

Content: We checked in to The Oberoi Cecil, Shimla. The hotel location was good with the Shimla view and near to Mall Road. It was a luxurious heritage hotel with luxury and deluxe rooms. The interior of the hotel and rooms are impressive that gives great ambiance.
Day 2 - 15 Feb 2019
Content: After breakfast from the hotel, we headed towards Kufri. It is a tiny hill station located in the southern part of Himachal. It is famous for its refreshing cool atmosphere and an amazing view of the surrounding valleys.
Content: Our first point was Mahashu Peak, which was the highest point in Kufri. We climbed up by horse. Through the muddy road it is adventurous to travel on horseback, which makes an interesting experience. We stood at the top of the peak and looked at the view of the town.
Content: Next, we visited Kufri Fun World, which is located at the top of Mahasu Peak. It is one of the highest amusement parks and has the highest go-kart track in the world. This park is an excellent destination for the family to make a memorable day. It is equipped with various rides and pools. We enjoyed the thrill of riding the swinging boat and the merry-go-round at the top of a mountain. We spent some time in the canteen to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. We had an amazing experience in Skiing and Yake riding.
Content: Himalayan National Park is one of the most famous tourist attractions. We reached here by the time of closing so we got limited time to explore. We saw Musk Deer and Leopard cat.
Content: Our next destination was Mall Road. This is a large open space in the heart of town that presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. We walked around the street and brought many local things. It was a crazy crowed place for shopping. We found some woollen clothes which was sewed manually by local people. We saw the Scandal point where the Mall road joins with the Ridge road. We had a quick visit to Kali Bari Temple, and Town Hall.
Content: We had our dinner in Ashiana & Goofa restaurant, located at The Ridge area, so it is always crowded. It is the best place to wind up Mall Road visit. The food was tasty, and the price range was affordable for the services they offered. We returned to the hotel.
Day 3 - 16 Feb 2019
Content: After breakfast, we prepared to visit Viceregal Lodge. It is also known as the Rashtrapati Niwas. The Viceregal Lodge, Shimla was formerly the official residence of the Indian Viceroy during the summer months.
Content: We headed towards, Gaiety Heritage Cultural Complex, the heritage building was earlier used for hosting theatrical, cultural, and literary events by the British. Outside foods are not allowed inside the building. It is the oldest cultural complex in India. Inside the theatre, we saw an art gallery that exhibits traditional arts. The most popular attraction in this complex is the Victorian theatre.
Content: It was an average hotel. We had lunch and it was not up to our expectation.
Content: After lunch, we trekked to the lush green Jakhoo Hill. We got amazed by the huge statue of Lord Hanuman. According to the locals, Lord Hanuman stopped at this spot to take rest before resuming his search for the Sanjeevani Booti. We saw the entire view of Shivalik range and the local town of Sanjauli.
Content: We stopped our day and returned to the hotel. We had dinner at the hotel. They offered varieties of dishes and drinks. We enjoyed the taste and ambience of the dining area. After dinner we came to room and packed things.
Day 4 - 17 Feb 2019
Content: After breakfast, we checked out of the hotel and headed towards Manali. On the way, we stopped at major attractions and spend some time. We planned for a relaxed drive so we got a lot of time for sight-seeing. On the way we had glimps of Shalaghat, Ambuja Cement factory, JayPee cement factory.
Content: We stopped at Sundar Nagar that was our lunch point. We saw many restaurants and Dhabas on both sides of the SunderNagar Lake. We had Rotti and butter chicken from a Dhaba, it was delicious.
Content: We reached Pandoh Dam, photography was not allowed. All the scenic places start from here. We climbed up the hill and saw the entire view of the dam.
Day 4 - 17 Feb 2019
Content: After long road trip, we reached The Whispering Inn by Vivaan. It was a great property with all amenities. We got a room with a balcony, view from the balcony was amazing. The rooms are big and comfortable. We had light dinner from restaurant at the hotel and it was delicious.
Day 5 - 18 Feb 2019
Content: We had a buffet breakfast, which was tasty and made a good start for the day. We started from the hotel for sight-seeing.
Content: On the way, we had lunch at Vibes Himachali Cuisine. It was one of the best restaurants in Manali. We enjoyed homely food with less oil and good in taste. We ordered fish fry which was amazing in presentation and taste.
Content: Vashisht is a small village across River Beas. We visited the temple of Sage Vashista and a Turkish-style bathhouse. It contains the hot water from the springs where we took bath and enjoy the warmth of the place in privacy. There are separate baths for both men and women, fitted with showers.
Content: Our next destination was the Hidimba Devi Temple, which is one of the famous temples in Manali. It is a cave temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Hidimbi. The natural walk around the temple rejuvenates our body with fresh air. We also visited Ghatotkach tree Temple, which is been dedicated to Ghatotkach, the son of Bhima and Hidimba.
Content: It was too late so we had dinner on the way from the Hidimba Devi Temple. Our driver dropped us at the hotel and informed us to get ready early in the morning.
Day 6 - 19 Feb 2019
Content: It was our ultimate day at Manali. We headed towards Shollan Valley early in the morning. We rented a woolen jacket and boots from the rental shop on the way. Sholang Valley is considered as one of the most beautiful places to be visited in the entire Himachal. This place was best known for its natural beauty and adventures sports. After a short walk around the valley we headed towards activity place.
Content: It was a very exciting and famous activity in the valley. With an instructor, we just run off a cliff and slowly glide down by enjoying an amazing mountain view. For a higher level of elevation, the car will take us to the jump site. We got a polite instructor who took many photos while flying. We enjoyed some other activities like Skiing, Quad Biking, Gondola Ride, and Zorbing.
Content: After all activities, we entered into a small tend shop. We had Maggi, egg omelette, and tea, it was so special. They prepared food lively with limited ingredients and it was so tasty to have in the snow atmosphere.
Content: The evening was set for shopping in Mall Road. We had a lot of fun and entertainment on the market road. We found many handicraft items on the streets. We bought some Kullu Shawls and Kullu caps for loved ones. It was a perfect place for shopping. Many gift shops are available on the roadside. We finished our dinner from a local resturant and return to the hotel.

Content: We had a luxurious buffet breakfast with the continental dishes. We checked out the hotel and headed towards Kullu.

Content: The way we travelled to reach Kullu was pleasant. Kullu is also known as the Valley of Gods. We checked in to the hotel. They provided a comfortable room for a reasonable price with mountain view.
Content: After a quick fresh up we headed towards River Rafting Point. We carried a set of dress to change. We had a fun and adventuros experience on the river while rafting. The guide who came with us gave hand commands and signs for the safety. They offered well-maintained restrooms in the sight to change wetted clothes.
Content: On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at Kullu Shawl Factory. They had exhibited different types of shawls and woolen clothes. We bought few rabbit wool shawls and it was very unique and soft.
Content: We had dinner in the hotel, as per our request they had arranged food in the room itself. We had Palak Paneer and Jeera rice, which was a perfect combo from them.
Day 8 - 21 Feb 2019
Content: After checked out we headed towards Chandigarh. On the way we had breakfast in the highway restaurant and planned to visit Vaishno Devi temple.
Content: We reached the Vaishno Devi Temple, it is commonly known as Mahadevi Tirth at Kullu. This temple is located by the side of the Beas river in the style of the Vaishno Devi temple near Jammu. The tourists was attracted to the spiritual value of the place. After worshipped we started to leave the place and headed to airport.
