Content: The morning we arrive, we began our day by getting some fresh fruit and coconuts at the fruit stand. They have them everywhere in Ubud. It’s a great way to support the locals.

Content: After renting a scooter, you can find places all over Ubud, we headed to the rice fields.
Content: There’s a Love Bali sign at the rice fields that’s a perfect photo op!

Content: We stopped at the Seeds of Life for a snack. We went here often. They have delicious and affordable raw vegan food. You can get a meal for 3 usd!
Content: We stayed here for our time in Ubud. It’s a great place in a quieter area, but still close to everything!

Content: We started the morning exploring this beautiful temple. It’s in the center of Ubud. Accessible either by walking or scooter.

Content: In the afternoon we took a scooter ride to this waterfall. It’s a beautiful hike to it. We found that it wasn’t very crowded.

Content: We loved Sayuris. This is the cafe we’re frequented most during our stay. It’s a big hub for expats. They have the best vegan food ever.
Day 3 - 29 Sep 2017
Content: Canggu is about an hour scooter drive away from Ubud. We wanted to go surfing and swimming in to ocean. There are a lot of places to rent boards.
Content: After a full day of surfing and swimming, we relaxed on the beach. There was some live music in the evening that we enjoyed.

Content: We grabbed a bite to eat and a couple of drinks here before heading back to Ubud.

Content: Talk about green, this hike is jungle paradise. All you see is green everywhere. There was a cute swing along the way we took some photos on. We walked here from where we were staying.

Content: We spent a bit of the afternoon at the monkey forest. Be careful the monkeys can be aggressive and steal things.

Content: After the monkey forest, we grabbed dinner here. It had amazing vegan options. Another great place to go in Ubud!
Day 5 - 1 Oct 2017
Content: This was another one of our favorite waterfalls. It was hidden in a canyon so the sun came in, in stunning places. It’s also filled with greenery. We ended going on a little adventure all through the canyon.

Content: In the afternoon we headed to this temple. It was amazing. We even met a group of locals who we took cool pictures with.

Content: Another great restaurant option. It’s on the pricier side, but still offers great healthy options. It’s also near the accommodations which is a plus!

Content: This beach is definitely a full day excursion. We took the scooter all the way from Ubud. It’s amazing though and totally worth the long journey. The water is so clear and we found so many colorful sea creatures.

Content: We stopped here for dinner before heading back to Ubud. The food was amazing, definitely a must in Uluwatu!

Content: We spent a month in total in Bali. As not all our activities would fit in our itinerary, we include all of our favorites that we did. Traveling in Bali is so affordable. Anyone can do it and it’s an amazing island and culture to explore.
