Day 1 - 13 Jan 2019
Content: Started our journey with a 8 hrs Singapore Airlines flight from Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport to Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The airport is huge and has lot of gates to operate, it is located far from city center.
Content: Booked a cab for our entire trip and took a 1 hr drive to our hotel. It is located in center of city, Twin towers are visible from hotel. Rooms are big and staff is always willing to help.
Content: Petronas Twin Towers are twin sky scrappers in Kaula Lampur. One tower allows tourist to visit, tower offers best view of city. Good place to click lot of photos.
Content: With a short walk we reached Jalan Sultan street where lot of Indian restaurants are available. We choosed Bombay palace, good food and great hospitality. This restaurant is highly recommended for Indian cuisine.
Day 2 - 14 Jan 2019
Content: After breakfast we took a 2 hrs drive to Melaka, It is the historical state of Malaysia which contains heritage buildings and colonial structures. Where we checked-in to our hotel, the rooms were very clean & beach view was amazing.
Content: Dropping off our luggage we took a 10min drive to our first destination St. Paul Church, which is located on Bandar Hilir, which is the oldest church in Malaysia.
Content: With a short walk reached Cheng Hoon Teng Temple which is a Chinese temple and represents the three Doctrinal systems of Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism. Peaceful place with unique architecture. A must visit place to learn about local culture and religion.
Content: Tengkera mosque known as Tengkera mazjid is a 3rd oldest mosque in Melaka. Great peaceful place with a glimpse of old architecture.
Content: with a 10min drive from mosque reached St. Peter's Church which is the oldest functioning Roman Catholic Church in Malaysia, beautiful church with a huge hanging bell in clock tower. A must visit peaceful place.

Content: While returning back to our hotel we stopped at a hotel for dinner, Great traditional ambiance, lamb and pork burgers are highly recommended.
Day 3 - 15 Jan 2019
Content: Started our morning with a buffet breakfast and a short Beca ride to Parameswara Jetty, it is nothing but just a coast of Melaka river. The place where we will board our boat.
Content: Boarded a boat and sailed towards Villa Sentosa. It is a house built during first quarter of century which is now converted to a heritage museum. Collection of Malay costume and furniture must be watched here.
Day 3 - 15 Jan 2019
Content: Returned back to Kuala Lumpur with a 2 hrs drive from Melaka, and checked-in to our hotel. Rooms were clean and location was great.

Content: Dropping off our bags and with a short nap, in evening we headed towards Batu Caves, which means rock. It is dedicated to lord Murugan. A huge idol is placed on the entrance. Lot of steps to climb, not suitable for people with knee problem.
Content: Visited a American restaurant, which is located on Petronas Twin Towers. The food was amazing, staff was very friendly and price were affordable. All sky scrappers can be seen while dinning.
Day 4 - 16 Jan 2019
Content: Started our morning with a delicious breakfast and took a 2 hours drive to Tempurung Cave. Tempurung Cave is the largest limestone cave in Malaysia, saw magnificent stalagmites and stalactites, the more deep you more the caves challenges you. cafe is available before and after trek. Not suitable for aged people.
Day 4 - 16 Jan 2019
Content: Jumped back in to the car and went to a restaurant in Tapah, We ordered fried tofu and eel, food was very fresh and portion was much more then expected, price is affordable. eel is highly recommended here.

Content: took a 2 hr drive and reached Cameron Highlands, known for tea plantation and strawberry farms.
Content: Checked-in to a hotel in Cameron Highlands. The location was great, rooms were cozy and service was impeccable. They have a tea room in the hotel.
Day 5 - 17 Jan 2019
Content: Started our morning with a short drive to Agro-Technology Park Mardi Cameron Highlands, which is a agricultural research station. Kids enjoyed feed Rabbits and Strawberry ice cream is highly recommended.
Content: Big Red Strawberry Farm is famous for growing organic salad vegetables and fresh strawberries.We tried strawberry pancake here and carried strawberry jam and a plant with us. Strawberry picking is not yet started.
Content: Went for a Lunch at a Restaurant, Walking through the jungle reached restaurant. The ambiance was very good and bright but service was lacking at some point. Lamb is highly recommended here.
Content: Cameron Highland Butterfly Farm is known for its rare species of Butterflies, which is Rajah Brooke's Butterfly. Place is not well maintained, there are very less butterfly and some are died on ground.
Day 6 - 18 Jan 2019
Content: After breakfast we checked-out from hotel and took a 2 hour drive to Sultan Azlan Shah Gallery. It is a huge mansion with great architecture gallery can be viewed from outside as it is under renovation.
Content: Heading further towards Ubudiah Royal Mosque we took a stop at a western hotel for our lunch. We ordered chicken balls with cheese topping which was best. Service was good and price were very cheap.
Content: Ubudiah Royal Mosque represents traditional Malay design, well full attire such as trouser and long top are required here for entry and head should not be covered.
Day 6 - 18 Jan 2019
Content: Jumping back to our car headed further with a 2 hour drive to our hotel. This was a family friendly hotel and near to night market and city center. Rooms were spacious and bed were comfortable.
Day 7 - 19 Jan 2019
Content: Had a coffee and breakfast and started walking to George town which is known for colonial architecture, food and street art. Great to see existing pre-war buildings, and endearing handmade products. Need half day to explore completely.
Content: Had lunch at a restaurant located in George town itself. This restaurant is been listed by UNESCO, which offers French & Contemporary cuisine. Loved the ambiance and food. While dinning the view from 18th floor was amazing.
Content: With a 30min drive reached Batu Ferringhi, which is a town known for water sports. where we explored shopping market and bought some batik clothing. Spent our evening watching sunset and then returned back to our hotel.
Content: While returning back to hotel we took a stop and met some artisan who used to make Songkok, which is a muslim headgear looks like a cap. Amazed by their creativity.
Day 8 - 20 Jan 2019
Content: In afternoon we took a 30min drive to Penang International Airport from where we boarded a 14 hours Silk Air flight to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. Decent small airport and staff was very helpful. Leaving Malaysia behind we returned back to our home.
