Content: After all the Covid procedures we made it to our hotel in Phuket, Kara Sea Breeze. The staff is very helpful, nice pools, good breakfast, very clean, 5 mins walking distance to Kata Beach.

Content: Kata Beach is a nice sandy beach. It is more peaceful than the main beaches in Phuket and still has all the amenities you can ask for: water sports, restaurants, massages, shops…

Content: We took a ferry to Phi Phi, an island 1 hour away from Phuket. We stayed in Phi Phi Natural Resort and loved it! Staff is welcoming, the facilities so beautiful, own snorkeling beach, pool with a view, big garden, charming bungalows and beachside restaurant.
Content: This area in the Laemtong pier is more quiet and close to nature than the main area. Beautiful beaches and good restaurants but no nightlife. I suggest you combine the areas and stay a few nights in both!

Content: Beach day on this beautiful beach. Sandy, no currents, tides affect the deepness, relaxed athmosphere. Note: In Laemtong pier area, there are no ATMs! And all the restaurants and bosts accept only cash. So bring it with you before you come!

Content: Today we moved to the main part (the town) of Phi Phi island. Before we checked in to our hotel, we grabbed a longtail boat to take us to Maya Bay. Maya Bay and it’s beach are famous from the movie The Beach. It took around 30 mins with the boat to reach the bay.
Content: The beach has been closed for 5 years and opened again on 1st January 2022. It is a stunning beach with vegetation and crystal waters. One of the most beautiful places in Thailand!
Content: Snorkeling is very popular in Maya Bay. This little reef sharks lives in the waters but is totally harmless and quite shy. You can also see starfish, pufferfish, parrotfish, reefs and so much more!

Content: We stayed in Phi Phi Cliff Beach Resort. The rooms are clean and pool nice but the location a bit far away.
Content: The beaches in Phi Phi have so many monkeys! Beware of them, they stole someone’s passport and ripped off the pages!
Content: Phi Phi has excellent nightclubs with fire shows and cheap drinks by the beaches! Highly recommended to at least watch a show!

Content: Phi Phi is the paradise for party lovers! These drink buckets are sold everywhere for a few euros.

Content: Today we moved to Koh Yao Yai, which is a beautiful island close to Phuket. In this island you’ll have mostly high-quality resorts with their own beaches, pools, transportation and restaurants. However, if you walk away from the beach and more inland you’ll find shops and restaurants owned by the locals.

Content: We stayed in Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa and it’s one of the best hotels that I’ve ever been to! Bathtub on your terrace overlooking the sea and the jungle and beautiful rooms. Two great pools, several restaurants, own beach and lovely staff!

Content: This is the pier of the hotel. They will come and get you from Phuket with their own boat and when you arrive, you can start relaxing on this pier and watch fish! There’s also a drink bar on this pier during sunset.
Content: The resort is always decorated in Thai-style in the evenings. It has several restaurants, eg. buffet restaurant and another serving local dishes and burgers. There are not many other restaurants nearby.

Content: Morning in this paradise and then the hotel took us back to Phuket. You can see how the villas are built in the jungle!

Content: Today we came back to Phuket and headed to the airport to pick up our rental car. Driving in Phuket is ok but finding parking spots quite difficult. However, the distances are so long that you’ll need some mode of transportation.

Content: We drove to Phang Nga bay this morning to visit James Bond Island and hired a longtail boat to take us there.

Content: The tour usually takes you to James Bond island where The Man With The Golden Gun was filmed, to the mangrove forests and to a floating fishing village.

Content: There are beautiful mangrove forests in the bay! You can purchase a paddling tour in the forests to see them better.

Content: My favourite snorkeling spot in Phuket! Just drive to the beach and walk 10 meters in the water and you’ll find the most vibrant reef with parrotfish, starfish, corals and so much more!

Content: Kata Rocks restaurant is a very classy restaurant inside the hotel complex. Make a reservation as it is very popular! They serve seafood and local dishes.

Content: Sunset drinks on the beach!
Content: Patong beach is one of the busiest beaches in Phuket. In the evenings it is very vibrant and has a lot of restaurants nearby. You’ll also find these lanterns that you can send to the sky!

Content: Today we hired a longtail boat to take us to Koh Man and Koh Bon. Both are good for snorkeling and on Koh Bon you’ll have a white sandy beach and a small restaurant. A very nice daytrip destination.

Content: Great dinner restaurant. The decoration is gorgeous! The serve french dishes. A very romantic place!
