Day 1 - 12 Jan 2019
Content: Took Cathay Pacific flight from San Francisco to Phuket via Hongkong. Journey was comfortable and airline staff provided excellent service throughout.
Content: Nice hotel ambience and hotel location is so accessible. One of the recommended hotel to stay when in Phuket. Staff was so accomodating and hospitable. Beach View from hotel was fabulous.
Content: We’ve visited a lot of wats in South East Asia and this one certainly had its own unique flare. It’s cool and breezy location makes it just as popular as the splinter of Buddha’s bone that rests inside.
Content: The Big Buddha sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills. Not only is it a place of tranquillity to receive blessings, but has 360 degree views of Phuket.
Content: What I love the most about dining here was the outstanding service. Our head waiter, was always on hand to ensure we were happy and content. We enjoyed crab cakes and Thai prawn salad for entrees, followed by slow cooked tilapia in coconut milk and Phuket yellow noodles.
Day 2 - 13 Jan 2019
Content: Begin your day by catching a sunrise from the picturesque Promthep Cape. Offering breath taking views of the ocean, this place is considered to be one of the prime points of attractions in Phuket.
Content: We were the only visitors in the morning when it opened, so we got a private guide walking with us and showing us where to take best pictures. Service was really good, but the fact that you have to take off your shoes and walk around the hard floor barefoot for a long time was a big minus to me.
Content: Kata Beach is big enough never to feel overly crowded and ensures you’ll always have ample space for a towel on the beach. Activities such as surfing available, there are plenty of shops nearby to engage in retail therapy.
Content: Spoil yourself and your loved-ones with an afternoon of fun at Coral Island. An absolute paradise only 10 kms south of Phuket. The island is surrounded by coral reefs and has two long stretches of white sand. A short walk over the island's hill leads to a small, quiet cove and an idyllic peaceful beach.
Content: This road is lit up with neon lights. Bars running alongside the street, open doors to the public in the evening. A lot of loud music, blending into different beats makes this street a happening one. There are samba dancers, fire-splitters, hip-hop performers and magicians. Must visit eateries are Soi Lao and Soi Vikings.
Day 3 - 14 Jan 2019
Content: Took ferry in morning from Phuket to reach Koh Phi Phi. It took over 2 hours. Had a lovely view over the islands, our own porch and it was definitely clean and comfortable enough for 2 days in Koh Phi Phi.
Content: We spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing. And in the evening we head to Phi Phi village for a walk and checked lots of shops and local stalls.
Content: On our way back to your resort we stop off at Hippie’s Bar and Restaurant for a more relaxed, but still backpacker, crowd right on the beach.
Day 4 - 15 Jan 2019
Content: The morning was all about excursion! We were picked up at my hotel at around 9:15 for 9.30 to 13:30 excursion. We firstly went to Monkey Beach, then snorkeled in Maya Bay. Next up was snorkeling at Shark Point to see the blacktip reef sharks, then sailed around Viking Cave before stopping off on Loh Lana Bay. We were given soft drinks, water and fruit as well as all the snorkelling equipment we needed.
Content: We head back to town to find one Thai massage bar there were lots dotted around. Had relaxing foot and head massage after day excursion.
Content: It’s got beach shack vibes and you can grab dinner and a drink here. If you manage to get here early enough (before 17:30) you might be in for a pretty sweet sunset. There’s a fire show on the beach every night that’s supposed to be pretty good.
Day 5 - 16 Jan 2019
Content: We check out from hotel after having good breakfast. Have some food with you as it is a one and a half hour journey.
Content: This was fabulous place. Had a great time. Surrounded by beach, waves, breeze, sun and everything nature provides. Location is one of the best things as well as you can literally just walk to all recommended places both sides of the resort.
Content: Railay is most famous as the rock climbing capital of Krabi province, but there are plenty of adventures to be had. Get a bird’s eye view of this land mass by climbing up to the View Point, which provides a stunning panorama.
Content: Walk under several karstic caves (photograph the monkeys, but don’t feed them) and arrive at the Phra Nang Caves, which are not only a great vantage point for sunset, but are filled with penis carvings that are purported to bring virility to men and fertility to women.
Content: Krabi resort have this nice restaurant beach side. Food is bit expensive but its really good taste.
Day 6 - 17 Jan 2019
Content: After we had breakfast and packed up our things to explore the village. We made three stops. First, to the leader’s house to learn about paint screening. Second, to the leader of the model boat builder’s where Yeison discovered a new way to make fire and third, to where they process the rice grown on the island.
Content: Kayaking through the mangroves was so calm and peaceful, all around us we saw tall green cliffs looming over the trees, making for incredible landscapes. We reached the first cave filled with stalagmites and as we quietly glided through the caves. Next we stopped Skull Cave. It was incredible to explore the caves, knowing that a group of people survived here years ago.
Content: It was like entering Jurasic Park into a secret lagoon dating back hundreds of years. We put our paddles down and sat there quietly, listening to the slow drip of the water from the trees and the birds singing above us.
Content: We had a wonderful evening here. The soup was absolutely amazing as was the bread. The pineapple fried rice was prepared well with four nice prawns on top. My wife loved the cashew chicken. Worth spending here.
Day 7 - 18 Jan 2019
Content: For our last day in Krabi, we went island hopping and snorkeling which is usually the highlight of Krabi and the reason why people visit. We got off to go snorkeling in the lagoon. It didn’t look like there would be much but as soon as you stepped in the water, there laid an abundant, thriving underwater world. After snorkeling, we hopped back on the boat to go back. Along the way we went through another shallow lagoon, where we could see all the way to the bottom from the boat.
Content: This place is amazing, a must visit. We were treated exceptionally well, the food is incredible, the presentation is very nice and the price for a main is the equivalent of 3 US Dollars.
Day 8 - 19 Jan 2019
Content: After spending wonderful time in Krabi, today we had to leave for San Francisco. We hired car from Krabi to drop us at Phuket International Airport which was 2 and a half hour away. We had to catch flight at 6:30 pm
