Balat
Content: Starting up in Istanbul. It was the city we decided to move in together and start travelling and exploring from there. We have rented a place monthly in Istanbul since we would be staying for some time. So starting up with breakfast at a Börek place right in the start of Balat with a very nice view. 😊
Balat
Content: Balat is one of the oldest neighbourhoods in Istanbul. It’s definitely a must visit! There is a huge Greek and Jewish culture. The streets are full of rainbow 🌈 coloured buildings, colourful stairs, umbrellas and more. There are many vintage coffee shops and restaurants around, where you can get a cup of Turkish tea or lunch. We spend the whole day there and surprisingly on the way we saw a guy with a pet monkey 🙈 she was so cute, but a little bit aggressive.

Content: One of the main transportations in Istanbul is by ferry ⛴ , which is our absolute favourite 🤩 So we went to the boat station and headed to Uskudar.

Maiden's Tower
Content: This is the place we enjoyed sunsets the most. Uskudar Sahil is the place you can sit, enjoy a cup of Turkish tea right in front of the sea and watch the sunset till the end. 🌅 This is where we have rented our apartment, we really can’t get enough of Uskudar, it is absolutely the best place to stay at. 😍 The view is just so beautiful, there are people selling drinks, muscles, baklava and so many more things.

Levent Börek
Content: Starting up the day at our favourite breakfast spot, you will have the best Börek here and the coffee is just amazing. Then right after the breakfast we took the ferry to Eminonu, so we can walk up to Suleymaniye Mosque. 🕌

Suleymaniye Mosque
Content: We got to Suleymaniye Mosque after a 1 hour ferry ride. This is an interesting place to visit and experience a part of the culture and religion here in Istanbul. What’s very special about this place is the architecture and the history behind the mosque.

Taksim Square
Content: After spending some real good time in and around Suleymaniye Mosque we took the train straight to Taksim Square. How can you come to Istanbul and not visit the famous Istiklal Street 🤩, it is filled with all kinds of stores and restaurants of all kinds. We walked all over Istiklal Street and headed to Galata Tower which is not to far from the end of the street. We stopped at an Italian restaurant and had an amazing dinner 🥘.

Content: At last in Taksim, we had to go try the amazing Baklava for dessert at the best place Hafız Mustafa. 😋 We got one full plate of all different types of Baklava and some tea.

Content: We started this day again at the best place for Breakfast in Uskudar called Levent Börek. 🥘😍 Then we took the ferry ⛴ again to Kabatas so we can go to Dolmabahce Palace.

Content: We got to Dolmabahce Palace after a very quick ferry ride. This place is just magical🤩, there is a big park in front of the Palace with coffee shops with beautiful sea view 🌊 Once again we are really amazed by the architecture of the historical places around Istanbul, it is just amazing.

Çengelköy
Content: This day was pretty fast paced, because we had to get back and prepare for our next trip to Fethiye. So we ended the day in one of the best and cutest neighbourhoods, Cengelkoy. There is a very authentic Choclate Coffee place there Nmaed Cikolatali Kahve, which have a very beautiful view on the last floor.

Content: Time came to head to the turquoise coast of Turkey 🏖 We took the flight ✈️ to Dalaman airport and it was a quick 1 hour flight.

Content: As soon as we went out of the airport the shuttle busses to Fethiye were right there. One called Havaş and the other called Muttaş. We got in the first one we saw and the ride was about 1 and a half hour and fairly comfortable.

Dove Apart Hotel
Content: We finally got to Dove Apart Hotel around 4 pm, we were very tired but we really wanted to go out and explore the places next to the hotel and maybe go check the Çalış beach on the way. The hotel is in a very good location, very close to the beach and there is a market right in the corner. Also, a Waterpark very close. We’ve confirmed our Scuba diving class for the next day and set a time for the transfer to pick us up from the hotel early morning.

Elite Diving Centre
Content: We were really excited about Scuba diving, because it was a birthday surprise 🤩 and our first time diving. 🤿 We’ve arrived at the port in the morning, took a bite while waiting for everyone to gather and took off to our destination. The boat ride was so nice and refreshing, but we’ll recommend to get something on top because it was chilly as we got deeper in the sea.

Content: We’ve arrived in this beautiful hidden beach with crystal turquoise water and straight away started getting ready for our dive. 🤿 The diving school had all the equipment we needed on the boat and it’s all included in the price. Since it was our first time diving ever, they made sure we’re comfortable, helped us as much as we needed and explained everything we need to know. We did 2 dives, first one ☝️ was 5-8 meters deep and second one ✌️was 15 meters deep. We swam with fish 🐟 took some photos, enjoyed the beauty of the coast. It was an amazing experience for us 🤩 and we’re definitely looking forward to do it again!

Content: After the dive we had around an hour to relax and swim. We had such an enjoyable time, everything around us was so beautiful 😍 The water was incredibly clear and warm, we couldn’t get out 😅 The lunch was also included in the price of the whole boat trip and it was good 👌
ŞEHİT FETHİBEY PARKI
Content: It was time for us to head back to the city. We honestly didn’t wanna leave 😍 So after we finished, we went to explore the center of Fethiye and finished with a walk at the very big park close to our hotel. We stayed there until sunset and went back to sleep because we were extremely tired.

Content: We couldn’t miss the most famous beach in Turkey called Oludeniz. So we headed straight to it, we took a minibus 🚐 from the city centre that takes you directly to the beach.

Oludeniz Beach
Content: There are bunch of activities you can do there, but after Scuba diving the previous day, we just wanted to swim, relax and enjoy the beautiful sunny day ahead of us. After we arrived to Oludeniz we had to walk around 15-20 minutes to get to the tip of the beach. 🏖

Kumburnu Plajı
Content: Since we didn’t eat anything in the morning, we went for brunch in a restaurant at the beach and after we layed our towels on the chairs, we spend the whole day there. 😊 We also rented a canoe 🛶 and went around the beach and deeper and right after that we hopped on a pedal boat, which is a great way to explore the area.

Tiger Beach Bar
Content: We had an amazing day at the beach!! 🤩 And after we headed back we found this beach club and decided to go for a cocktail 🍹 It is known to be one of the best places for nightlife in Oludeniz, but that day it was a little bit empty. We couldn’t ask for a better last day in this beautiful place. 😍

Content: We really didn’t want to leave, but it was time to head back to Istanbul. And with that we finish with this trip. 😊
