Dubai International Airport

Content: Planning to visit Dubai? No worries, we got you covered! Flying to Dubai you will arrive at Dubai International airport terminal 3. It is quite a big airport but everything is easy to figure out so don’t worry. The weather in Dubai is good all year long. I mean … we live here so for us winter months are a little colder (I guess our body temperature adjusted and is reacting different now) but tourists love to visit in a months from October till April (I would say there is more outdoor activities that you can do this time of the year). But summer is great too (just not for people who cannot stand very high temperatures as it can be above 50C ). Ok… let me tell you more about Dubai 😊

Day 2 - 7 Mar 2021

Crowne Plaza Dubai

Content: We decided to stay at Crowne Plaza on Sheikh Zayed Road. Mostly because the hotel is on the main road close to Dubai mall and not too far by taxi to old Dubai as well. Our hotel room was on the 19th floor and had a beautiful view of the “Museum Of The Future”. After waking up we decided to go get some sun at the pool for couple of hours.

The View at The Palm

Content: After our sunbathing we decided to do some sightseeing. We heard about this newly opened viewing rooftop deck where you can see Marina and The Palm from the top. I love rooftop places and beautiful views so I was excited to go and check it out 😍 It opens at 10am and closes at 11pm. The price was 150aed per person but it varies depending of the time of the day. Tickets are more expensive during sunset. There is also the possibility of buying VIP ticket which is around 320aed for adults and 140aed per child. We were lucky that there was almost nobody upstairs. Stunning 360-degree views 240 meters above the world famous Palm Jumeirah. Plenty of space to take nice pictures and enjoy the views around. It took us around 25min to drive by taxi from Crowne Plaza Sheik Zayed Toad to the Palm. The entrance is through Nakheel Mall located at The Palm as well.

Day 2 - 7 Mar 2021

Harvester’s Dubai

Content: After coming back we wanted to check out an Irish pub called Harvesters that is located inside Crowne Plaza on Sheik Zayed Road. We ordered some food and drinks and sat outisde overlooking the Museum Of The Future. The food was good and the portions were really big. It was nice to listen to some live music too. Nice and relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed it. I was being surprised with a big bouquet of flowers for women’s day as well! Look how beautiful they looked 😍😍

Day 3 - 8 Mar 2021

Content: Early morning wake up and we rented a car to drive to Ras Al Khaimah. The drive takes about 2 hours. First we had a lovely breakfast in the restaurant on top of the mountain called 1484 by Puro. The weather was perfect. It wasn’t cold neither too hot. We sat outside overlooking the mountains. It is a nice change from the city landscape. We had a lovely breakfast with delicious coffee, and the sun was shining and we even saw goats walking around (one of the featured on the pic as well hehe ) The restaurant is surrounded by the mountains so after that we had a little hike as well. Better book in advance.

Day 3 - 8 Mar 2021

Toro Verde's Jebel Jais Flight

Content: The main reason why we decided to go to RAK was to try the longest zip line in the world. The meeting point was exactly in the same place as the restaurant where we had breakfast in the morning. It is advisable to book your flight in advance. Same with the restaurant as mostly it is overbooked. Unfortunately it is impossible to just drive there without reservation as you need to provide booking number or zip line booking Nr to drive up the mountain. Would you try it? 😀 The World's Longest Zipline certified by Guinness World Records with a single span of 2,832mts!! Average speed of 120kph … Did you know that? Believe it or not, I did it as well, and I was just next to Graham but I was a bit slower 🙈 hehe Such a cool experience! Definitely recommend it!! They have certain restrictions in regards to weight and high such as : - weight min 40 kg max 130kg - height min 122cm - age below 18 accompanied by parents or guardian. So how was the zip line? We loved it! It looks scary but in reality it is not as scary as it looks 😊 After the flight it took us about 2-2,5 h to drive back to Dubai.

Day 4 - 9 Mar 2021

Platinum Heritage Desert Safaris

Content: No sure which day is going to be our favorite after this trip as today we are going on a HOT AIR BALLOON ride in Dubai!! Yes, they have it over here as well! Sounds so awesome 😍 We tried it in Cappadocia and now will see how it is to see the desert from the top. The car picked us up early in the morning and we drove to the meeting point where the balloons were being prepared. Before the flight started we were being offered Arabic coffee and tea with some dates. Delicious start of our day 😊 Hot Air Balloons in the UAE are quite expensive so always look for deals on different pages, sometimes they can be quite good.

Platinum Heritage Desert Safaris

Content: After the Hot Air Balloon sunrise tour the old vintage cars took us to the place in the desert where we had our Arabic breakfast. It was a buffet with lots of meal choices. In addition to having breakfast we could ride a camel or hold a falcon as well. Everything was included in the price. Staff members were very nice and helpful. We almost didn’t have time to hold a falcon and the gentlemen knew we wanted to do that so he followed us in his car 😍 how sweet was that! Definitely recommending! Super nice experience. Something different and great memories for the future for sure.

The Highest View - Gevora Hotel

Content: Half of our day passed which was super nice and fun! We loved it! We had an early morning wake up call so we decided to take it slow and enjoy an afternoon tea at The Highest View in Gevora hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. It is on the opposite side of the street from Crown Plaza. We made a booking in advance as it can get quite busy. We arrived 15 min before as well as tables are allocated on a “first come first serve” basis. We wanted to make sure we have a great table with unobstructed views of Burj Khalifa and the sunset as well 😍 It was actually my fist time ever trying a high tea and I loved it! Sunset High Tea at 285 meters in the highest View Lounge 😍 I mean just swipe left to check it out for yourself😍 The price was 138aed per couple

Day 5 - 10 Mar 2021

123樓At.Mosphere Burj Khalifa

Content: Uff… I was waiting for this day to come! Lovely breakfast at Atmosphere in Burj Khalifa? Yes, please!!!! Words cannot explain! The view + the food + the company = ❤️ We enjoyed it so much! They are serving a lot of food to be honest. We couldn’t even finish it all, but it was super delicious. I am glad we had a window table. It is necessary to make a booking in advance (especially if you are planning to get a window seat with a view) as this place is always busy. Price per person is around 370 aed. But it is a life experience for sure!

Dive Atlantis

Content: Can you guess what we did after our wonderful breakfast? We went snorkeling at Atlantis Aquarium! Such a fun experience. I enjoyed every second we had. So many different fishes and sharks as well. Seems scary but in reality there is nothing to be scared of 😊 Very nice and memorable adventure. Check the pictures 😊

The Lost Chambers Aquarium

Content: As we were already in Atlantis Hotel we went to visit aquarium called “The Lost Chambers”. It is the largest aquarium in the Middle East and Africa. Aquarium is open everyday from 10am till 9pm. Prices for the tickets : - adults: 110 aed per person - child : 45aed
