Day 1 - 3 Apr 2019

Noi Bai International Airport

Content: Started our journey with a 8 hour spice jet flight from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport to Noi Bai International Airport. The flight had lot of turbulence, airport was clean and staff was very quick.

Hanoi Railway Station

Content: With a 1 hour drive from airport we reached railway station. The station is small, no one is willing to help and they try to sell expensive tickets.

Dong Hoi Station

Content: Took a day long 10 hours journey from Hanoi railway station to Dong Hoi railway station. Train was not clean, coaches were small and there were bugs in coach. Station was good, provided wifi facility.

Day 1 - 3 Apr 2019

Muong Thanh Holiday Quang Bình Hotel

Content: Checked-in to hotel after a 15 min drive from station, sea facing location, clean rooms and staff was very helpful.

Content: As we were very tired after a long journey, we choose to dine in the hotel itself, ordered vietnamese cuisine. The food was good, many other choice are available on the beach for sea food.

Day 2 - 4 Apr 2019

Xuan Son boat dock

Content: After breakfast started our first day of journey towards Xuan Son boat dock, which was 1 hour drive from hotel. Boarding deck for Phong Nha Cave.

Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park

Content: Boarded a traditional dragon boat and sailed through natural Karst mountains, kart ecosystem are very diverse and rich. reached Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park known for its oldest karst formation.

Phong Nha Vegan Restaurant

Content: We had mushroom skewers and goi special salad, which was a best here. The restaurant was clean and hospitality was good.

Botanical Garden

Content: After Lunch, started hiking to Botanical Garden were there are several other activities. Need to wear long trouser with light shoes, this place seems to be like jungle.

Gio Waterfall

Content: With a short Hike reached Gio waterfall and the swimming hole. The view is amazing need to wear shoes it is slippery.

A natural path

Content: Walking through natural path traveled to wild zone, were wild monkeys can be seen. Do not carry eatables, monkeys can snatch it.

Day 3 - 5 Apr 2019

Paradise Cave

Content: With a delicious breakfast started our morning, Traveled to Paradise Cave which was 2 hour drive form hotel. Massive caves, it is deep and beautiful.

Paradise Cave Restaurant

Content: Had lunch at the restaurant located close to cave, the restaurant right in the jungle, food was served in bamboo trays and taste was good. Bit costly as per the location.

Chay River Kayaking

Content: Before heading to dark caves, we did some kayaking adventure in Chay River. steady water, must experience once with many others.

Dark Cave

Content: Took a short boat ride through Chay River and with a zip-line reached Dark cave also known as Hang Toi. this place has a lot to offer such as mud bath and many other water activities. Need to have helmet with light on it to explore the dark caves.

Hanoi Railway Station

Content: After lot of exploration and adventure we took a 15 min drive back to Dong Hoi Station. From were we boarded a 10 hours overnight train to Hanoi city. the coach was small and clean.

Day 4 - 6 Apr 2019

Noi Bai International Airport

Content: Took a 1hr drive from station and reached Noi Bai International Airport and boarded a 11 hours Singapore Airlines flight to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. The flight was comfortable and crew was helpful.
