Skanderbeg Square (Sheshi Skënderbej)
Content: Traveling to Albania has been very easy during this pandemic time. Our goal was to visit as many beaches in the south as we could.First stop of course is the capital city, Tirana. From Tirana Airport to the city center is 30 mins distance. Best thing is to rent a cars. There are many rental companies at the airport. We booked for one night at Hotel Opera in Skenderbeg Square.

Content: We walked around the city center.There are some historical museums to visit in Tirana, but this time came just for the beaches. Spend the rest of the day getting drinks and some bites.There are so many nice bars and restaurants.

Vlora
Content: Next day we drove from Tirana to Vlora. It was almost 3 hour drive. Vlora has many beautiful small shores with private beaches. We went to Vajana beach. Sunbeds costs 700 leke. They have a very cozy restorant and beach bar.We spend the day there.
Hotel Imperial Vlore
Content: We booked 1 night stay at Hotel Imperial. A very nice small hotel located in Lungomare. In lungomare you can find different restaurants and bars

Llogara National Park
Content: We woke up early and went to Llogara National Park. You can immediately feel the fresh mountain air. Of course you need to stop and try the famous yogurt at one of the restaurants there. If you have an adventurous spirit you can try paragliding from Llogara.

Drymades Hotel&Bungalow
Content: We spend the rest of the day at Drymades. The water there is crystal clear. Sunbeds varies from 15-30 € depending where you stay. Spend the night at Drymades bungalow.

Content: After we had breakfast we drove to Jale Beach. It's 30 min drive from Drymades

Folie Marine
Content: We stayed at Folie Marine at Jale. The prices varies , depending on the season 80-150€/night. In the price is included the breakfast,the sunbeds and parking. We loved this bay and the atmosphere in this resort.

Grama Bay
Content: One of the highlights of our trip is definitely Grama Bay. This bay is reachable only by boat. You can take a boat at Dhermi near Luciano Restaurant for only 3000 leke. From the boat you can see other small bays. Grama bay is a pearl of Ionian Sea. The colors of water are just wow

Plazhi Ksamilit
Content: One of the most beautiful beaches in Saranda is Ksamil just 40 mins drive from city center. During summer is overcrowded but September I believe is the best time to go. Ksamil has a small shore with white sand and clear water. There are many nice restaurants nearby. Sunbeds costs 1500 leke.

Content: We ate dinner at Lekursi Castle. From there you can see Saranda.

Hotel Republika
Content: Last day in Saranda. We enjoyed the breakfast with view and decided to visit another beach near Saranda called the Mirror beach.

Content: Mirror beach was 40 mins from our hotel. It's called that way because of the vlear water. Spend a few hours there before headed to Tirana
