Content: The bus station in Tirana is pretty organized. You will see many bases lined up to go to different locations. You will buy your ticket at the booth right by the entrance.

Content: After a long drive we finally made it to Saranda. One of the best places to stay in Saranda is this hotel. Prices may vary because of the season. It is better to check the website. The hotel has a nice pool and the view 🙌

Content: We decided to take it easy in the morning. As we were planning on staying for a long time in Saranda, first couple days we spent in the hotel looking for an apartment. We had amazing breakfast and enjoyed the pool.
Bulla's Corner Fast Food
Content: One of our favorite places to have lunch in Saranda. It costs $2 and they have the best French fries in town. Highly recommend.
Lëkursi Castle & Restaurant
Content: A nice place to take a walk to is this castle. There is actually a restaurant inside. We had coffee there, it was great. If you want to walk, it will take you about an hour to get there, or 7 minutes by taxi. All depends how you feel.

Butrint National Park
Content: We highly recommend you to visit Butrint National Park, if you don't have a car you can easily take a bus for 1€, it takes about 30 minutes to get there. You will need about 2 hours to walk around in the park. It costs about $10 to get in.

Bar Restaurant Limani
Content: This is our favorite restaurant in town, always busy even during the low season. Their pizza is amazingly delicious and the salads are incredible as well.

Content: We loved taking evening walks in the city. It's nice to walk by the water and enjoy the cute little town on the water.

Bougainville Bay
Content: Check out this hotel. If you want all inclusive, pool, spa, beach, food. This hotel is what you need. The most expensive room is $200. They have a lot of cool things. Check out our YouTube: Torres Journeys we give a hotel tour.
Orange Cocktail Bar
Content: This bar is a club as well, you can have a lot of fun there. In summer they have a lot of parties. The cocktails are a bit pricy, but it is typical for vacation towns like this one.

Content: Take a day trip to Ksamil. It is a beautiful beach town with soft sand, lots of cute restaurants and coffee shops.
Plazhi Ksamilit
Content: This beach is beautiful, the water is crystal clear and the sand is nice and soft. Here at the beach you can sent paddle boats, and all sorts of stuff for water activities.
Beach Bar Restaurant Rilinda
Content: This is a nice place to have some lunch and coffee before heading back to Saranda. If you want to stay in Ksamil for a few days, there are plenty hotels here as well.

Content: This is one of our favorite cafe's in town. We used to come here almost every morning for coffee and enjoy the beautiful view.
Silhouette Sports Center
Content: Check out this gym if you want to stay fit even on vacation, they have a lot of equipment and space for everybody.
Vila Bajrami 45
Content: This is a perfect place to come for dinner and experience the local dishes. The prices are good and staff is super friendly.

Content: We rented a car for a day. It coated us $30. We decided to visit several places around Saranda.

Blue Eye
Content: This place is about 40 minutes driving from Saranda. It is nice to stop by and jump in the water. As we were there in September, the water was a bit cold for us.

Pizza 'N' Burger Wide
Content: On our way to Permet we stopped off at this restaurant for a quick bite. We bought two slices of pizza with us to go.

Content: We made it to Permet. It is a cool place where you can enjoy the hot springs and even bring your own food. Right there they have a 18 century bridge that is an iconic bridge for Permet.

Castle of Gjirokastra
Content: Taking a day trip from Saranda to Gjirokastra is always a good idea. Gjirokastra is located only 50 km from Saranda and you don't need to rent a car. Just come here by bus. From downtown Saranda you can take a bus to Gjirokastra. In Gjirokastra you can walk to everything. The first place we went was the castle. You can go inside the museums for some extra money, otherwise you can see everything for free.

Gjirokastra Bazaar
Content: While you are walking around the Old Town of Gjirokastra you will find the Gjirokastra bazaar. Here you can buy lots of souvenirs and local foods.

Content: The old Town is a beautiful place to take lots of photos and feel the atmosphere of real Albania.
Gjirokastër Obelisk
Content: This monument is located in the old Town. You can get to it easily. It is free.
Ismail Kadare's House
Content: We were lucky when we visited this place. The local lady gave us a full tour around the house (check our YouTube for the full video)

Restorant Kufoi
Content: After spending a day in town we got very hungry and this place had very good reviews. The food was amazing, the service was good as well, and the price was good. We recommend this place.
