Day 1 - 14 Jul 2021
Content: By taking a train from Antwerpen Central station (or basically any other city in Belgium) you can quickly get to Düsseldorf, Germany! ☺️
Day 1 - 14 Jul 2021
Content: First stop: Düsseldorf Hafen! Here you can enjoy the Düsseldorf docks with a view to modern buildings and the Rhine Tower. Plus, during a sunny day it is a really pleasant walk to take 😌 💯 10/10
Content: On the way to the Rhine tower, you can have a walk around the tiver and appreciate several modern buildings that are part of a media center!
Content: This is the Rhine Tower. It is famous for its views over the city and the fancy restaurant on the top 😜 If you want to go up, I advise you to book in advance, otherwise you won’t be able to do it!
Content: By walking along the Rhine Embankment Promenade, you can get to the Old Town of the city! There you can go to the famous Marktplatz and discover typical German neighborhoods ✌️
Content: If you like beer, I totally recommend you to go to some typical German breweries! They have a huge list of beers where you can choose from and also the vibe is pretty different 🤩 💯 10/10
Content: One of the cutest city parks that I have ever been to! A lot of green, well preserved gardens and MANY ducks! They were walking all over the place and seemed to like people 😅 very cute spot. 💯 9/10
Content: Right next to the park you can check the cool buildings of Kö-Bogen and go to the air open shopping mal!
Day 2 - 15 Jul 2021
Content: Time for an early (and heavy) lunch! If you want to try some typical German food this is an excellent place to do so! Plus it is also a brewery 🤩 💯 10/10
Content: Going to a different part of the city, but totally worth the time 😉 This was my favorite place in Düsseldorf! It is a fairytale-like palace built in the 18th century. You can visit it inside if you buy a ticket but just by looking at it outside and exploring the HUGE gardens that surround, it is totally worth it! Everything was well preserved and it truly felt like a Bridgerton episode 😜 💯 10/10
Day 2 - 15 Jul 2021
Content: Heading to Köln! The iconic cathedral is a must when coming to this city. It is really tall, it almost did not fit in the photos 😅 Plus, it is also one of the most visited monuments in Germany! Really impressive, right? 💯 10/10 After the cathedral you can also walk towards the Hohenzollern Bridge and get wonderful views to the river! However, the train station is right next to cathedral. Worth visiting both places! And time to go back home by the train station that also has really good train connections to many cities 😊
