Saint Sofia Statue (Статуя Света София)
Content: ITA: Costruito nel 2001, il monumento ha rimpiazzato la vecchia statua che raffigurava Vladimir Lenin. L'opera, che sfiora gli 8 metri di altezza, è stata realizzata in bronzo e rame dallo scultore bulgaro Georgi Chapkanov. La statua è stata collocata sopra a un piedistallo alto ben 16 metri. National Theater Garden (Градинката пред Народен театър)

È stato costruito nel 1906 in stile neoclassico e da fuori sembra un tempio greco, decorato con le figure mitiche della mitologia greca. Il frontone rappresenta Apollo con le Muse e, sulla torre di ciascuno lato, c'è una raffigurazione della dea Nike. ENG: This little pink and white gem is not to be missed. The National Company performs at the National Theater bringing Bulgarian and international works. It was built in 1906 in a neoclassical style and from the outside it looks like a Greek temple, decorated with mythical figures from Greek mythology. The pediment represents Apollo with the Muses and, on the tower on each side, there is a depiction of the goddess Nike.
