Content: This 8 days itinerary is suitable for families or friends who want to explore the Czech Republic, among castles, nature, history and architecture. Basically, I recommend accommodating in Prague and travel by train or car to reach the areas of interest.

Content: Kutna Hora is reachable in less than 90 minutes by train. This city is particularly famous for the Sedlec Ossuary, a Church of bones. After the visit to the Ossuary, you can spend the rest of the day to explore the city. Particularly gorgeous is the St. Barbara Cathedral.

Content: On our way back to Prague, we stopped for dinner in a local and less touristic restaurant. In my opinion, is the best option to experience the authentic Czech cousin and definitely cheaper than in other centrally located restaurants of Prague.

Content: I recommend this restaurant in Prague 9. Their roastbeef was excellent and with some salad as a side dish. The place is really huge and you can sit inside or in their outside garden during the warm season.

Content: A trip from Prague to the beautiful town Český Krumlov takes only 3 hours and there are several easy and budget options on how to travel there. You can get there by bus or train and you can find very cheap tickets with RegioJet or Flixbus.

Content: You can visit this iconic UNESCO site in just one day. Indeed, the town is small and you can take a pleasant walk from the the main square to the castle. Once you are there, I recommend to experience a boat trip around Český Krumlov and have a typical czech meal.
Content: The main square, situated in Svornosti Square, is surrounded by cafés, shops, a fountain and the Plague column. This is definitely a place to go when visiting Český Krumlov.
Content: You can't go to Český Krumlov and not to visit the castle. This is definitely an excellent experience. I recommend a guided tour for a full immersion into the Baroque and Renaissance era. Great experience!

Content: To reach easily your next destination, I recommend finding accommodation in Brno. In fact, from there you can reach Lednice Castle in just 40 minutes by car. However, Brno offers so much beauty to their tourists. You must see the Špilberk castle and the Cathedral of St. Petr and Paol, Náměstí Svobody with the Astronomical Clock and Želny Trh (the market Square).

Content: This castle make you feel like a princess in a fairytale. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful and extended garden, with beautiful flowers to see during spring.

Content: On your way back to Brno, I recommend stopping for dinner at Zlatá Loď in the main square (Náměstí Svobody). Their beer, Starobrno, locally produced is great!

The whole region is of increasing importance for alpine tourism in Central Europe. 📝 This is surely a place that you should visit, if you want to spend a relaxing weekend on the Mountain full of fun and pure air.

Content: Karlovy Vary (Carlsbad) is a spa town in the west Bohemia region of the Czech Republic.
Content: The Mill Colonnade is a large colonnade containing several hot springs in the spa town. Inside the largest colonnade in Karlovy Vary, you may find the seeps of five mineral springs: the Mill Spring, the Rusalka Spring, the Prince Wenceslas Spring, the Libuše Spring, and the Rock Spring.
Content: The market Colonnade is an iconic white wooden building that was meant to cover the springs just for a few years, but due to the beauty of the Swiss style and the appreciation of the local people for the nice architecture, the town decided to preserve the construction.
Content: Before leaving the city, I recommend trying the traditional Czech cookie, Oplatka, a sweet, flat, thin wafer. A Must-to-try when in Czech Republic and a nice gift idea for your family and friends.
