Air Europa
Content: We travel with Air Europa The flights is about 2 hours and half from Madrid. We landed in the north of the island.
CICAR Aeropuerto Tenerife Norte
Content: We usually rent a car with Cicar. Is the perfect way to discover the island. Take photos means takes long of time until we get the final shot so we need to have time for us.
La Laguna Gran Hotel
Content: This boutique hotel in the center of La Laguna so is perfect to discover the north of the island. You will have plenty of restaurants and shop in front of you and also shops and cultural places to visit during your stay. The hotel has a rooftop pool and beautiful views. Rooms are nice and full equipped.

Parque Rural de Anaga
Content: In our first and complete day on the island we decided to go to Anaga. Anaga has beautiful spots, some of them are very famous in Instagram like Mirador del Inglés, don’t miss the old road and take a picture in that mysterious place. Anaga has a difficult road with plenty of curves but is really beautiful. Just drive safe. Don’t skip Benijos beach specially to see one of the best sunsets 🌅

Restaurante Playa Casa Africa
Content: We ordered a soup, a typical fish from Tenerife and one dessert. Everything was perfect so we recommend this place. Is located in Almaciga so stop here if want to eat and your are in Anaga.

Paisaje Protegido de Rambla de Castro
Content: After eat we went to Rambla De Castro we did a short hike and we saw the abandoned water store and beautiful blacks beaches. The perfect way to end our first day.

Day 3 - 6 Sep 2021
Masca
Content: On second day we went to the small but beautiful village of Masca. The road is also complicated but it really worth drive 1h until you reach Masca. If you look the pictures there is a rock with seems Machu Picchu, so it is call like the little Machu Picchu. You can find some restaurants there or if you books with time you can do Masca gorge. It is a hike about 6/7 km and you will finish in a small beach.

Teno
Content: This afternoon we went to punta de Teno. Actually is a reserve place and is not possible drive to get there. You need to take the bus and is absolutely mandatory. Once you reach Teno you will found a savage zone, without constructions or restaurants so take note about it. Take food or water with you. There is a beautiful lighthouse in Teno that reminds to the one which is in Ushuaia.

Garachico
Content: By the end of the day we went to Garachico. This village is on the north side and is really interesting because here you can swim in a natural swimming pool and also walk along the colorful streets. We decided to eat here in La cocina de la abuela. We ordered canarian cheese and scrambled eggs with cure ham . Really good.

Parque Nacional del Teide
Content: You have to reserve one day and spend it in Teide National Park. Important to know that if you want to reach the top, you have to asked for permission to the Cabildo of Tenerife. And you have to do with lot of time, there are only a few tickets for each day so be sure to get yours with time. On the other hand you should know that weathers very important, so if is windy or stormy you won’t be able to go at the either. We have tried 3 times, and finally the last one we could reach the top of this amazing volcano 🌋
Parador de Cañadas del Teide
Content: Paradores is national company which is famous for takes important buildings and transform it into hotels. Normally in 3/4 stars hotels. Here in Tenerife you can book a night in this place and wake up In front of the Teide or if you prefer only eat then book in the restaurant. The food is really good. Maybe is not cheaper but only one day treat yourself good.

Content: There are lots of viewpoints in this park so take your time and stop whenever you see one. We spent a full day here and it really really deserve it.

Barranco del Infierno
Content: One morning we decided to go to visit this natural canyon in Adeje. We really like walks and this one is very interesting and fun. The final destination is a waterfall and depending if it has been raining or not you will see more or less water falling. Anyway you can have a great time. This activity cost 17€ pp.

Los Cristianos
Content: Los Cristianos is on the south part of the island, and here the weather is always nice. You will found a golden sand here near the harbor. This beach is really nice for swim and for sunbathing. We take our last afternoon relaxing on the beach.

San Cristóbal de La Laguna
Content: Before going to the airport we went for a last walk in La Laguna. In this pictures you could see how beautiful is this city. If you want to learn more about the place, if is possible to book guide tours.
Aeropuerto de Tenerife Norte
Content: So time to packing and go home. However this is not a Goodbye because we will return to this amazing island for sure.
