Aeropuerto de Lanzarote (ACE)

Arrecife, Aeropuerto de Lanzarote (ACE)

Content: We landed quite late, around 10pm and were able to exit the small airport pretty fast.

Thrifty Aeropuerto Guacimeta

Arrecife, Thrifty Aeropuerto Guacimeta

Content: It’s almost a must to rent a car if you go to Lanzarote and want to go out of your hotel as the public transportation is almost non existent! We rented ours at the airport and paid less than 50€ per day.

Location: Costa Teguise

Day 1 - 16 Feb 2022

Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

Costa Teguise, Oasis Lanz Beach Mate

Content: We stayed at this hotel for the entire trip and I am very satisfied about it. It has a good location, close to the beach and many restaurants. The rooms were very big and comfortable and separated from each other. Definitely a recommendation 🙌🏻

Location: Costa Teguise

Day 2 - 17 Feb 2022

Beach Bar

Costa Teguise, Beach Bar

Content: The menu was incredibly cheap! You can have breakfast starting at 4€! And the restaurant has ocean view which makes it even better 🙌🏻 The only downside for me, was that vegetarian/vegan options were almost inexistent.

Location: Teguise

Day 2 - 17 Feb 2022

Teguise

Teguise, Teguise
Teguise, Teguise

Guatiza, Jardín de Cactus | CACT Lanzarote
Guatiza, Jardín de Cactus | CACT Lanzarote

Content: I was really looking forward to visiting the famous cactus garden designed by Cesar Manrique. It was incredibly stunning, although a bit too crowded to be able to take good pictures 🙂 We bought a 4 entries ticket that includes entries to 4 of the art and culture centers in Lanzarote. It only costs 29€ per person and will save you around 10€ if you plan on visiting multiple centers! There is also a 2 and 6 entries ticket.

Location: Haría

Day 2 - 17 Feb 2022

El Bosquecillo

Haría, El Bosquecillo

Content: This is the best spot to watch the sunset in Lanzarote! You can drive up by car and then you need to walk a few minutes until the cliffs. Make sure to bring warm clothes because it gets very chilly when the sun goes down!

Location: Costa Teguise

Day 2 - 17 Feb 2022

Pablo's Restaurante

Costa Teguise, Pablo's Restaurante

Content: This is the definition of a typical “tourist” restaurant to me. Okay food that you could get in any country and okay service 😅 Nothing spectacular or memorable.

Location: Costa Teguise

Day 3 - 18 Feb 2022

Lighthouse

Costa Teguise, Lighthouse

Content: For any person that loves meat and eggs this would have been amazing but since I don’t like any of that and they didn’t have much breakfast options, it wasn’t that great 😬 it’s very cheap tho! An English breakfast costs 4€.

Location: Caleta de Famara

Day 3 - 18 Feb 2022

ZooPark Famara Surf, SUP & Kite School

Caleta de Famara, ZooPark Famara Surf, SUP & Kite School

Content: We had a group surf class with Famara Zoopark which has to be the worst experience of our trip 😢 There were over 50 people in our group! And only 6-7 instructors.. People kept on crashing into each other, the instructors disappeared from sight and well, it was terrible 😂 I advise to book with smaller surf schools and ask which days/time are the less crowded.

Content: This is a bit confusing because there are 2 places called “charco verde” in Lanzarote. This one isn’t even green 😂 but it was beautiful nonetheless!

Charco Verde

Las Palmas, Charco Verde
Las Palmas, Charco Verde

Content: This is the charco verde I wanted to see! A stunning green lake next to the ocean 🌊 the sad part is that the beach is a protected area and that you can only admire it from a viewpoint which was really crowded!

Centro de visitantes e interpretación del Timanfaya

Tinajo, Centro de visitantes e interpretación del Timanfaya
Tinajo, Centro de visitantes e interpretación del Timanfaya

At the Center you can take a bus which will drive you through the lava fields and old craters, while giving some background information about the volcanic activity of the island. There is also a restaurant where you can eat meats that have been roasted using the heat from the volcanoes 🙌🏻

Location: Costa Teguise

Day 4 - 19 Feb 2022

AQUARIUM DE COSTA TEGUISE LANZAROTE SL

Costa Teguise, AQUARIUM DE COSTA TEGUISE LANZAROTE SL

Content: It started raining later that day so we decided to visit the aquarium of Costa Teguise. I don’t recommend it, it was very small, kinda dirty and the fish didn’t seem to live in good conditions ☹️

Location: Haría

Day 7 - 22 Feb 2022

El Bosquecillo

Haría, El Bosquecillo
Haría, El Bosquecillo

Content: For our last evening we went back to this sunset spot, sadly there was sand of the Sahara blowing over that day, making everything foggy and sandy. However it’s an epic spot and there is even a cave!

Location: Las Palmas

Day 8 - 23 Feb 2022

Aeropuerto de Lanzarote

Las Palmas, Aeropuerto de Lanzarote

Content: Time to go home 🥲 That week flew by! I think 1 week is a good amount of time to see everything that Lanzarote has to offer 🙌🏻 I hope to visit more of the Canary Islands in the future ✨
