Content: The city of Toulouse is known as the pink city because of its orangey pink coloured brick buildings. The small alleyways in the historical centre are definitely worth visiting!
Content: Brunch time at a local café! This place is located in the centre, it has great brunch options and great coffee!
Content: A great hotel not far from the centre! It’s situated right next to the canal which is a very nice place to walk. The prices are very reasonable for a city centre hotel.

Content: I started of the day by walking along the rivers edge, it’s a great place to have a drink or a meal!
Content: Don’t forget to visit one of the most visited place in Toulouse: the capitole square!
Content: Take a walk from the square toward the basilica St Sernin.

Content: Rent a car at the Toulouse train station and drive to the French countryside! (Roughly 3 to 4 hours drive) I went to the Corrèze region which has many pretty villages. I stayed in a chalet which has breakfast included and a swimming pool great for hot days!

Content: Collonges-la-Rouge is known as one of the most beautiful villages in France! The red coloured bricks makes it a very unique place in France.
Content: Wander around the small town, in summer there are many beautiful flowers.

Content: This is another very pretty village which has many beautiful things to see.

Content: This morning I visited the town of Turenne. Situated in the countryside on a hilltop, this village is also known as one of the prettiest villages in France.
Content: The castle at the top of the village is worth a visit, the views are amazing!

Content: I visited one of the many waterfalls that are in this region. The walk to the waterfall is easy to moderate, you will need your walking shoes.

Content: The town of Rocamadour is a place you shouldn’t miss! Its medieval charm and pittoresque views makes for a great afternoon out.
Content: Walk up the hill toward the castle to be rewarded by beautiful views.

Content: The old part of Bordeaux is very pretty and it has lots of great restaurants.
Content: When I visited the market hall I found this coffee place which makes great beetroot latte.
Content: This is my favourite restaurant in Bordeaux, I love the wholesome and vegetarian food that they serve.
Content: The place de la bourse is a must-see in the city. In the summer months you can admire the water pool in front of the beautiful building.

Content: The drive from Bordeaux isn’t far (roughly 1 hour 30). I stayed in the centre in a small appartment with a stunning sea view. There is a small kitchen area, perfect for making breakfast in the morning.

Content: I got a boat from Arcachon to Cap Ferret, it took 30 minutes.

Content: I rented a bike at the port. 4 hours costs 10€. It’s the best way to get around the Cap Ferret!
Content: First stop is this beautiful chapel right by the sea.
Content: The village de l’herbe is a colourful fishing village. Go during the summer months to admire the pretty flowers.
Content: This small restaurant offers lots of brunch and lunch options. Their acai bowls are the best!!
Content: I stopped off at the lighthouse before returning the rental bike.

Content: Breakfast with a sea view. There is a bakery near the appartment, this is where I bought breakfast everyday.
Content: The centre of Arcachon has some pretty buildings and parks.

Content: Take the bus or a rental car from the train station to the famous dunes! They are the biggest sand dunes in Europe!

Content: A beautiful hotel right on the sea front. It’s right in the centre of Biarritz.
Content: Breakfast at this local cafe. The pancakes were especially yummy!
Content: Take a walk along the sea front, the views are beautiful.
Content: Some days you can admire the sand art.
Content: The beaches are amazing in Biarritz, it’s a great spot to go surfing!

Content: Hendaye is another popular seaside town and it is not far from Biarritz. The hotel Valencia is well located and good value.
Content: Take a walk along the coastal paths, in the distance you can see Spain.
Content: The beautiful scenery around Hendaye.

Content: That afternoon I went to Spain! It is only a 30 minutes drive from Hendaye. Walk up the hill for some amazing views of San Sebastián.
