Day 1 - 11 Apr 2022
Content: First stop on the Paris itinerary- The Champs Élysée! If you want to take some cool photos in front of the iconic Arc de Triomphe, be sure to get there in the early morning as there’s always tons of people (and cars!) around the monument. Next, stop for a tea and macaroons at La Durée, only a few minutes walk from the Arc! For lunch, the Deauville restaurant offers traditional French cuisine like onion soup and steak frites. Or, for something more high-end, munch on some sushi at MissKo, one of my favorite restaurants on the Champs Élysée!
Content: Head to the opposite side of town and check out Montmartre and Sacré Coeur. This is a great area to explore with plenty of charming cafés and shops to pop into. Head to the top of the hill to tour the inside of Sacré Coeur cathedral and get some incredible panoramic views of the city below. If you’re feeling brave, you can even climb to the top of the highest tower on the Sacré Cœur cathedral to get an even better view of the city, but be warned - it’s over 300 steps!
Content: Notre Dame cathedral is another iconic monument in Paris! Grab a quick snack and stroll down the streets near the cathedral. Unfortunately the cathedral is still under construction and being rebuilt, so it’s not possible to tour the inside currently. But you can still enjoy the impressive views from the outside! You can also sit along side the quai in front of the Seine and relax as you watch the sunset over Paris!
Day 2 - 12 Apr 2022
Content: Head over to Palais Royal and check out The stunning architecture and beautiful gardens! This place is a bit hidden, so not as crowded as some of the other Paris attractions. But still a very popular photo spot, so make sure to get there early!
Content: After Palais Royal, head over to the Louvre Museum and marvel at some of the most famous art in the world! Afterward, grab a bite to eat at one of the many cafés or restaurants nearby. My personal favorite is Le Café Marly, it’s located right in front of the Louvre pyramid so you can people watch as you enjoy an afternoon snack 🥯 Take a stroll through the nearby Tuileries Gardens and admire the massive statues and beautiful pink blossoms in the Spring!
Content: Be sure to check out Musée D’Orsay as well! It’s located not too far from the Louvre and is such an underrated museum - there’s lots to see in this museum including a giant room that is completely decked out in gold!
Day 3 - 13 Apr 2022
Content: No trip to Paris would be complete without seeing the Eiffel Tower! For the best views, head to the top of the tower and take in the stunning panorama of the city. There are elevators on both sides of the tower that can take you up to the top, but If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even walk up the stairs to the top! In summer months, there’s even a bar at the top of the tower were you can grab drinks and overlook the city!
Content: Spend the day on the Seine in an electric boat rental in Paris! You can rent two hour, four hour, six hour, or eight hour boat rental and cruise down the Seine river for the day with friends. I’d recommend bringing a speaker some snacks and drinks to last you for the trip! It’s a great way to see Paris from a different perspective and enjoy a day in the sun!
Content: In the evening with a nighttime boat dinner cruise around Paris! This three hour dinner cruise will take you around the city and style, while you enjoy a three course meal and check out some of the stunning views Paris by night has to offer. It’s such a good way to enjoy the city and a great meal at the same time!
Day 4 - 14 Apr 2022
Content: A must see for any history lover, the palace of Versailles was once the home of French royalty. Today, it’s a popular tour destination, and I can totally see why! The palace is filled with stunning art and architecture, and has been preserved for hundreds of years. The garden grounds near the palace are also absolutely beautiful, so make sure to take a stroll through the gardens after your tour of the Palace!
Day 4 - 14 Apr 2022
Content: After exploring for a day at Versailles, take a break and have a snack at Places des Voges. This is a great place to people watch and relax after a long day of sightseeing around the city! These donuts from C’est Mon Donuts were the perfect midday treat 🍩
Content: You know I love a good sunset 😏 Finish the day by heading over to the Galeries Lafayette rooftop, one of the biggest flagship department stores in Paris! Their rooftop gives you stunning views of the entire city and is the perfect place to watch the sunset!
Day 5 - 15 Apr 2022
Content: Get out of the city for the day and head over to Disneyland Paris! It’s super easy to get here on the metro/RER from the center of the city, and you can be in the park in about an hour and a half from the center of Paris. It’s a good idea to get to the park early, as it doesn’t stay open very late (closes around 9pm I believe). I had such a great time exploring Disneyland, especially the ratatouille ride! 🐀♥️ Definitely a must-do when in Paris!
Day 6 - 16 Apr 2022
Content: For our last day in France, we decided to get outside of the city and spend the day in the nearby Champagne region! We started in Épernay, which is the heart of all champagne production in France. We did a tour of Moet and Chandon champagne houses, and got to sample the product of course 🥂 It was such a nice break from the city, and it was only two hours away from Paris by train.
Day 6 - 16 Apr 2022
Content: Lastly, we spent a few hours in the nearby town of Reims, a small French city that is also famous for a champagne production. We toured Maison Taittinger, another famous Champagne house here in France. Then we enjoyed a stroll through the town, admiring the medieval architecture and stopping at some of the cute shops and cafés nearby. ☀️ A perfect way to end a trip to France!
