Content: We started from Munich Germany where Condor offers a direct flight to the Island Skiathos.

Content: Arriving in Skiathos Airport it’s a 5 min drive with a taxi to the port. There you can take a big Ferry or a water taxi to get to the next Island called Skopelos.

Content: We stayed in a Hotel right in front of the Port which was perfect! In the evening we could go out to the town without worrying about getting a parking space. A car is necessary though to travel to the amazing beaches. You can rent one in many places at the port.

Stafilos beach
Content: The first beach we visited was Stafylos Beach. Often the spots in the shadow are already taken so we bought an umbrella in the supermarket right under our Hotel

Content: Since we didn’t have food included in our Hotel we went out for dinner every day. Which I think is perfect. Because that’s how you really get to know the Greek food culture. An absolute local Tipp is this Restaurant with every day traditional live music.

Content: Have you seen the movie Mamma Mia? Well that’s where they filmed the wedding!!! It’s about 1-2 hours drive from Skopelos port. Beautiful views guaranteed.

Kastani Beach
Content: If you like to be at a different beach every day this Island is perfect for you! With a short car drive you can explore the whole beauty of this Island. Here we are in Kastani Beach where another scene from Mamma Mia was filmed.

Korali Agnondas Skopelos | Sea food Tavern - Restaurant
Content: This restaurant is located in Agnontas. It’s a little pricey compared to the tavernas in Skopelos Town but the view of the sunset is let’s you forget about that :)

Hovolo Beach
Content: This beach is a dream. Although it’s not the easiest to get to it. After you park your car you have to walk along a narrow path next to the rocks to get to the main beach. You will have to be comfortable walking on rocks inside the water. This beach is not organized so you would have to bring everything you need

Content: Every evening we would just walk through the cutest streets of Skopelos looking for a charming place to eat.

Content: Another beautiful beach. The water is crystal clear. Nice beach bar and very big.

Skopelos Port Chora
Content: Time to take the ferry back to Skiathos and from there the plane. If you want to see planes landing right over your head you can walk from skiathos port along the shore to the airport and you will be right at the landing strip.
