Day 1 - 15 Aug 2021
Content: I arrived at the airport in the afternoon and right outside the building there is a bus (coach) that takes you to the centre for 2€. Getting out of the airport is easy, it is very small.
Content: I booked a room at Anais, the room I picked had a kitchen and an outside space, perfect to have breakfast. There is air conditioning and it is a very calm place. The owner is very helpful and kind. It’s a very good price compared to others appartments in Mykonos.

Content: Breakfast at the appartment! I bought some products from a local bakers and ate it outside in the shade.
Content: First stop in Mykonos is the famous windmills! The name doesn’t lie, it can get very windy around this part. I went early in the morning so to avoid the crowds.

Content: During the afternoon I enjoyed walking around the calm streets of Mykonos. I love Mykonos during the day because it is so much more quieter than in the evening.

Content: Don’t forget to visit little Venice at the waters edge! It’s very beautiful at golden hour.
Content: In the evening I found this very reasonable restaurant by the waters edge. The food was very good and it’s a perfect place to watch the sunset!
Content: After dinner I went to an outside cinema, it’s a unique experience! There are many chairs & snacks.

Content: I went back to the same restaurant as the day before (I was very pleased with their service, location and prices) and I enjoyed an iced coffee.

Content: I caught the daily boat from Mykonos (the old port) to Delos island! The ticket cost around 20€ there and back but it is worth it! Delos makes for a great day out! Getting into Delos is free for under 26 year olds from the EU.

Content: After getting back from Delos I had a very tasty meal at pepper. Prices and food were both very good.
Day 4 - 18 Aug 2021
Content: I caught a ferry from Mykonos new port to the island of Paros. I booked my ferry ticket online and it was reasonable.
Content: I stayed at the pandrossos hotel, overlooking the bay in Paros. The hotel was clean and has a pool. It’s great if you are on a budget, I payed roughly 40€ per night for 2 people. I was lucky to get a room with a view!
Content: I stopped for a snack and I had a delicious homemade waffle. The staff were extremely friendly and I went back a few times during my stay.

Content: A calm and reasonably priced restaurant serving local cuisine. It’s situated right in the centre.

Content: I had breakfast at the hotel overlooking this beautiful view. I would definitely recommend having breakfast at the hotel. There was lots of choice and it only cost 7€ per person.

Content: I caught the bus from the port in Paros to the fishing town of Naoussa. The bus didn’t cost a lot and there are many different times to choose from. Naoussa is a beautiful place to walk around.

Content: After getting back from Naoussa I went to this traditional Greek restaurant. The owners were very friendly and I would definitely go back again.

Content: The next island is Naxos! I caught the ferry from Paros (I ordered my ticket online again). The capital of Naxos looks beautiful in the evening.
Content: The temple of Apollo is a must see when in Naxos! Most people watch the sunset here, it can get very crowded.

Content: This restaurant has the most tasty food! I would recommend getting their zucchini croquettes! Very reasonable as well.

Content: I wandered around the old centre of the city and along the beach. During the day the centre is very calm.
Content: This beach is the closest to the centre of Naxos. It’s at a 15 minute walk and has a beautiful beach!

Content: I then caught a bus from Naxos centre to visit one of the islands best beaches. You can sometimes see turtles on this beach!

Content: In the morning I caught the ferry to go to the last stop of my trip : Athens. The ferry took around 5hrs but their is internet and comfy seats.

Content: This hotel is situated right in the centre of Athens, only 2 minutes walk away from the main square/ 10-15 minutes to the Acropolis. The room had a kitchen and a balcony, perfect for breakfast. The part I like the most about the hotel is the rooftop area where there is a stunning view over the city and the Acropolis. It’s great if you are travelling on a budget, it cost me 50€ per night.
Content: This place is only 5 minutes walk from the hotel and has many traditional options.

Content: I had breakfast at the hotel this morning, there is a coffee machine in the room.
Content: The agora is a must see in Athens. It’s free for under 26 year olds living in the EU!
Content: This brunch place is located in the centre and has many tasty dishes! I went for the vegan pasta dish!
Content: This place became my favorite place in Athens! It’s the best place to get the traditional Greek donuts!
Content: The hotel rooftop is the perfect place to watch the sun go down!

Content: I visited the Acropolis early in the morning to avoid the crowds and the heat! Yet again it is free for under 26 year olds living in the EU!

Content: Located right next to the Acropolis this museum is great to visit after the Acropolis in order to understand the history of Ancient Greece.
Content: This is located behind the Acropolis. It has many vegan and vegetarian options.
Content: I loved watching the guards doing their routine at this place. It happens every hour.
Content: I finished my trip in Athens with the national museum! It’s a beautiful place filled with many interesting pieces.
