Day 1 - 16 Jun 2021
Content: For this trip to Corfu I recommend staying in Sidari. On your first day you can leave your bags in the hotel and start to explore Sidari! This day will contain mostly free locations! The main strip has plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars for you to grab your essentials and have some food.
Day 1 - 16 Jun 2021
Content: If you keep walking up the strip you will find Canal D’amour which is about a 10 minute walk away. It is a famous beach and cliff edge in Corfu. It is famous for cliff jumping and there is even a small cave you can swim through.
Content: If you walk further down the left side of the coast (about 15 minutes) you will find Cape Drastis. There is a quieter beach here and you can swim out to the small remaining cliffs in the sea.
Day 2 - 17 Jun 2021
Content: For your first venture out of Sidari I recommend either doing the East Coast Cruise which is around €35 or renting a vehicle and driving along the East Coast.
Day 2 - 17 Jun 2021
Content: We caught a coach down to Kassiopi which is where we got onto our boat for the day!
Day 2 - 17 Jun 2021
Content: First stop for a swim and champagne dive!
Day 2 - 17 Jun 2021
Content: The boat will stop in Gimari at The White House restaurant where you can have food and drink or a swim.
Day 2 - 17 Jun 2021
Content: It will then travel further down the East and you will stop on Nissaki beach which is a white stoned beach with the most amazing water. There is also a restaurant to eat at called Yiannis Tavern. You will have the chance to swim on the way to these locations and also on the way back.
Day 2 - 17 Jun 2021
Content: If you’re feeling peckish or fancy a drink you can go to Yiannis Taverna which is right where you dock!
Day 3 - 18 Jun 2021
Content: Visit Kassiopi for a few hours. It’s a cute new place to visit for a couple hours, have a little shop and something to eat.
Content: I recommend eating at the wave bar which is right next to the ported boats. I loved seeing this super yacht it really reminded me of my time in Italy.
Content: There are castle remains that you can explore or you can take a walk along a path around the right side towards a secret little beach 🏖
Day 4 - 19 Jun 2021
Content: Take a boat trip down to Erikousa island! I paid around €25 euros for this boat to and from the island. The boat picked us up from Sidari Jetty
Day 4 - 19 Jun 2021
Content: Erikousa is one of the three emerald islands north of Corfu. If you’re feeling brave enough, try to walk around the whole island!
Content: To get to the helicopter pad and pink little church take the path up the left of the island to the top of the hill.
Day 4 - 19 Jun 2021
Content: I picked up an ice lolly from the supermarket and sat and had dinner at a restaurant by the beach. I had a cheese and ham toaster for €3 and a Mythos beer also for €3
Day 4 - 19 Jun 2021
Content: It’s a quiet island where everybody knows each other. It’s perfect for a quiet swim 🏊♀️
Day 4 - 19 Jun 2021
Content: On the way back the boat took us around the cliff faces of canal D’amour and got extremely close to the cave where people were jumping off the top 😬
Day 5 - 20 Jun 2021
Content: Visit Sidari Water Park hotel! I had heaps of fun here and the food is brilliant. If you are not a guest at the hotel there is a €5 entry fee 😆 There are 3 big slides for us adults and some small slides but both can be used by children of a certain height.
Day 6 - 21 Jun 2021
Content: Visit some of the best hotels in Sidari! You can use their facilities for free so long as you purchase a drink! If you’re looking for the deepest pool I recommend either Eleni Texas Bar Apartments or Terezas Hotel. If you’re looking for the most luxurious hotel then I recommend Destino Blue!
Content: Destino Blue Hotel & Spa is the most luxurious hotel I have seen in Sidari. It has a very big pool but it is not deep. It is only 0.8m ☹️ The swim up pool suites is 1.2m which is okay for someone small like me 😆 The spa facilities are modern and have a great aroma. The spa even has its own small pool with a small water fountain. Food and drink is fairly priced with house wine starting from €3 euro. However, I do not recommend any of the house wine 🥴 The buffet had a fair range of food for myself. However, if you are vegan there is not much choice.
Day 6 - 21 Jun 2021
Content: Terezas is one of my favourite looking hotels in Sidari. I prefer it more than the 5 star hotel previously mentioned. It has the biggest pool I have found in Sidari! 2.85 metres! I made the most of it 🤪 The rooms are decorated so well and I love the bathrooms. It deserves more than 3 stars. The food is delicious. I recommend the spicy tuna salad, chicken Caesar salad and the strawberries and ice cream desert 😋 My favourite drink was a Tropical Rum cocktail 🍹
Day 6 - 21 Jun 2021
Content: Now that may have been my favourite looking hotel. But this is the best hotel all around. Eleni Texas Bar Apartments! 💖 It is a family run hotel and they are a treat to be around. They are always up for a good chat and I have never had any problems. I have stayed here multiple times. It has the second deepest pool being 2.7 metres and it is bigger in length and width. It is in my opinion the best shaped pool in Sidari.
Day 7 - 22 Jun 2021
Content: Make sure you make the most of your stay and don’t forget to watch the sunset in one of your favourite locations! I loved watching them set from Canal D’amour as it was only a short walk away from the main strip. Here are some of my recommendations for food and drink: English Breakfast - Bed Bar Drinks - SOS, Bed Bar, Beach House, The Hive Dinner - San Remo, Savannah, Salt & Pepper Make sure you don’t leave Greece with trying a Gyro! I think the best ones are from San Remo!
