Content: I made this trip with a group of friends. Therefore we chose to stay in an Airbnb. The place was spacious, pretty central and clean. Plus, the price was really nice since Budapest is not an expensive city! 💯 8/10

Content: First touristic spot of the trip: the St. Stephens Basilica! This amazing Basilica is a must if you are into this type of attractions. It is the biggest church in Budapest and if you just want to enter you don’t have to pay anything. 💯 8/10

Content: This is the largest synagogue in Europe! It is a monumental landmark of the city ☺️ For you to enter you have to buy a ticket and I advise to book it in advance!

Content: Finishing the day in my favorite bar of the city!! 😍 This is an amazing place to have a drink, eat something and enjoy the company of your friends. It is a huge pub with a really cool decor and environment! 💯 10/10

Content: Starting the day with a walk along the river with a view to the Chain Bridge! We can also walk across it and take nice pictures of the landscape 😉

Content: One of my favorite places of this trip! The Budapest Parlament is a famous attraction for everyone who visits Budapest, and after visiting it I could understand why. As you can see in the photos the interior is AMAZING as well as the exterior. The tickets are paid and include a tour where they explain the history of the place and the purpose of the main rooms in the building. Totally recommend it! 💯 10/10

Content: Next, you can head to the famous “Shoes on the Danube Bank”. This place is a memorial to honor the Jews that where killed by the Fascist during the World War II in Budapest. It represents the shoes that the Jews were forced to take off before being shot and falling on the water of the river. 🥺

Content: Finishing the day in a cocktail bar in Budapest! There are a LOT of “thematic” bars in Budapest. If you have the chance to visit several one I totally recommend this one if you are into Hawaiian/Mexican vibes 😅 it is funny during the winter! They have a huge variety of cocktails and they are amazing as well as the space and environment! 💯 10/10

Content: The Budapest Citadella is a fortress located in the highest point of Budapest! Be prepared to walk a lot but I promise that the views over the city are worth it! Here you also find the famous Liberty Statue of Budapest. Plus, you can always sit in some benches and eat something 😊 This was also one of my favorite places to visit during this trip! 💯 10/10 Note: the place is free to visit however if you pay a ticket you have a guided tour and you can also visit a WWII bunker (pretty interesting right?).

Content: Next, you can head to the Buda Castle! If you buy a ticket you have access to the Hungarian National Gallery and The Budapest History Museum. Moreover, the view itself from the outside is pretty impressive and beautiful 😍

Content: Near the Buda Castle! Arriving to my absolute favorite place in Budapest so far: the Fisherman’s Bastion! Not only the Bastion itself seems like taken from a fairytale but also the views over the city are the best, specially to the Budapest Parlament! And it is not a simple viewpoint, you see all the city through the Neo-Romanesque lookout terraces, making your pictures look amazing. 💯 10/10

Instant-Fogas Complex

Content: Budapest is famous for its night life! During this trip I had the chance to visit this famous club in the city. The place is pretty impressive: it has around 3 floors with different dance floors, “themes” and music types! However we had a pretty bad experience with the staff and also the prices are pretty high comparing to the rest of the city. 💯 6/10

Content: This is the biggest and oldest indoor market in the city! Here you can find a huge amount of Hungarian traditional products (foods, clothes and craftwork), souvenir shops and restaurants!! 💯 9/10

Content: Crossing the Szabadsag Bridge (Liberty Bridge)! This is another famous bridge in the city. It connects Buda and Pest across the Danube River and it is famous for its bright green color 💚

Content: Visiting thermal baths in Budapest is a must. We had the opportunity to visit the Gellert Thermal Baths and I can say that I was really impressed. In opposition to the Széchenyi Thermal Bath, these ones are indoors! That is the reason why we chose them, since we did this trip during winter. The interior is amazing and it truly feels you are inside a very luxurious place 😍 Plus, they are also less touristic than the Széchenyi Thermal Bath, therefore less people! The entrance fee starts in around 15€! 💯 10/10

Content: What best to do after the baths? Going to eat out in the restaurant! I love Italian food and sometimes it is the best go to on holidays. In Budapest, Jaime Oliver also has restaurants and this one did not disappoint. Also, if you feel like eating a different type of food you can also head to the place of this restaurant since it is located in a street with a lot of them! 💯 9/10

Content: Starting the last day of the trip visiting the Vajdahunya castle! It is a castle in the City Park of Budapest. If is famous for showcasing different architectural styles from the Middle Ages to the 18th century!

Content: Right in front of the castle, during winter you can find a dreamy ice rink with a beautiful setting: City Park Ice Rink! If you want to have fun, I totally recommend it 😅

Praça dos Heróis

Content: Next to the city park, you can visit one of the biggest squares in Budapest: the Heroes Square! It is part of UNESCO World Heritage. Famous for the Millennium Monument: a nearly 40 meters high column with a statue of Archangel Gabriel holding King’s St. Stephen Crown + a colonnade with statues of Hungarian heroes and kings. It is one of the most photographed places in the city! 💯 10/10

Ramenka

Content: Getting something to eat before going home! This was one of the best Ramen I ever tried (as to taste and quantity)! Plus, the restaurant also has an informal and tight environment characteristic of the Ramen places which, if you are into it, is pretty cool. 💯 9/10 Next, you can head to the same airport as the arrival one to get home! This is a great trip to do during winter time in Europe, I really hope you enjoy it 🥰⛄️
