Day 1 - 1 Apr 2019
Content: Our journey to Ireland begin with an 8 hours British Airways flight from Heathrow airport to Shannon airport. The flight was extremely comfortable, small and very well organised airport, staff was super efficient.
Content: Rented a car and took 1 hour drive from airport to our hotel where we checked in. Great ocean view location and beautiful surroundings, rooms were clean and wide, staff was very professional. We skipped our dinner at hotel as it was already served on board.
Day 2 - 2 Apr 2019
Content: Woke up early in the morning and had a buffet breakfast. Later we rented car and reached Bunratty Castle & Folk Park which is known for medieval banquets where Bunratty Castle Entertainers perform. Enjoyed the walk around the castle, tons of things to explore for animals to equipments there is everything.
Content: Driving further for around 20 min we reached King John’s Castle, known for its massive gatehouse, battlements and corner towers. Castle with its fascinating history, which displays a short story form film which reveals how castle was built. Towers provide great view.
Day 2 - 2 Apr 2019
Content: With a 30 min drive we reached Lough Gur located in County Limerick, which is a lake forming horse shoe shape and an important archaeological site. Beautiful picturesque landscape which offers walk along the lake.

Content: Headed further towards our last destination for the day which was Rock of Cashel, it is an ancient royal site of the kings of Munster. Great castle to feel the history and it offers best panoramic view of the town. The cathedral is being shifted in the city.
Content: Checked in to hotel on the way to our destination for next day. Staff was helpful and friendly, rooms were comfortable and clean, a fine television with lot of channels.
Content: Had tasty vegetarian meal for our dinner at the hotel itself. Place was crowded but service was quick and hassle free.
Day 3 - 3 Apr 2019
Content: With a delicious buffet breakfast started our morning heading towards Killarney National Park which was 2 hour drive from County Tipperary. The park is famous for its oak woodlands and it is the largest area of native woodland remaining in Ireland. Hiked towards the waterfall, lakes and mountains, scenery was stunning.
Content: Visited a local restaurant in the Killarney National Park, ordered sandwiches which were available in wide variety and decent in taste. Dinning offered amazing views of Muckross and garden.
Content: Had a short walk and reached Muckross House, which is a mansion designed by the British architect for Henry Arthur Herbert and his wife. Beautiful architecture with glorious flowers.
Content: After visiting Muckross house had a 30 min ride and checked-in to a family friendly hotel, receptionist was polite and staff was helpful. Rooms were spacious and big to accommodate.
Day 4 - 4 Apr 2019
Content: Our morning began with a delicious breakfast and a short drive to port and boarded a Star Kenmare wildlife cruise. The views from the boat were stunning, saw many seals and other wildlife creatures. Studied the unique marine life and uninhabited islands.
Content: Later after exploring marine life we visited Skellig Islands which are 2 rocky uninhabited rocky islets and home to large colony of gannets. Well preserved monastery and consisting beautiful view. There are lots of steps to reach the top not recommended for aged people.
Content: Returned back to our hotel and relaxed, later in the evening with a short walk reached a local restaurant where we had our dinner with drinks and some live music. Taste was good and hospitality was fabulous.
Day 5 - 5 Apr 2019
Content: With a delicious breakfast started our morning and headed towards next destination Blarney Castle & Gardens with 2 hours drive, which is famous for its Blarney stone. It is much more then just a stone it is rich in culture and history. Very impressive castle with stunning immersive gardens, Poison garden and waterfall are gem.
Content: Had our lunch near the Blarney Castle & Gardens in a Irish restaurant. Had salmon and chili cone both were super delicious, staff was very attentive.
Day 5 - 5 Apr 2019
Content: While heading further towards our hotel we visited Cobh harbour which is second largest natural harbour, widely known as the final port of call for the RMS Titanic before it set out on its maiden voyage. Nice decent clean port loaded with a unforgettable history.
Content: Checked-in to a hotel which had elegant restaurant & a nautical-themed bar, and a rooftop garden. Staff was very professional and ready to help in every possible way, rooms were comfortable and clean.
Day 6 - 6 Apr 2019
Content: After breakfast took a 3 hour drive to Sathill city where we visited our first destinantion which was Galway Cathedral, which is one of the city's largest buildings and its huge octagonal dome is visible for miles around. It is made up of Galway stone. Architecture was great and singers were amazing.
Content: Next to Galway cathedral visited Eyre Square which is also known as John F. Kennedy Memorial Park, located in city center, excellent place to relax, consisting of beautiful flower arrangements.
Content: After exploring Eyre Square we visited a Iris restaurant for our lunch near to Spanish Arch. Beautifully located beside the river with quirky interior. The food and service was impeccable and must try deserts.
Content: The Spanish Arch is one of the last remaining pieces of Galway's historical city walls, it was used to keep invading army out. Lovely little historic place and a well organised museum to the next door. Nothing much to explore.
Day 6 - 6 Apr 2019
Content: With an 1 hour's drive checked in to a 5 star accommodation. In the evening as soon as we reached we saw the glowing castle which was astonishingly beautiful. Rooms were well organised and had all the amenities required, service was top notch.
Day 7 - 7 Apr 2019
Content: In the morning had a delicious buffet breakfast and took 1 hour drive and reached Kylemore Abbey & Victorian Walled Garden. It was built as a romantic gift, surrounding mountains and lakes. A fantastic picturesque surrounding, great place to walk and have a glimpse of history and stories of the family.
Day 7 - 7 Apr 2019
Content: While returning back we took an hour drive towards Westport house which is owned by Huges family. Loved the architecture of the house and history of the family. We took a self guided walking tour of 30 rooms. Nothing much to explore but a good place for kids.

Content: Returned back to hotel after spending a day exploring history, had a relaxing spa session. Staff was very knowledgeable about the acupressure points. Spa was magnificent.
Content: After a relaxing spa session visited Ashford Castle restaurant and had dinner. Food was superb and service was impeccable. Must experience the royal hospitality here.
Day 8 - 8 Apr 2019
Content: Started our morning with a declicious breakfast and headed towards County Clare which took approx 2 hour to reach. Here we had our first stop at Poulnabrone Dolmen which is an unusually large dolmen or portal tomb. Beautiful picturesque landscape made up of lime stone.
Content: Taking a 30 min drive off route we reached Cliff of Moher, which is one of the famous geotourism destinations and also recognized by UNESCO. The views and scenery are breath taking, one of the most beautiful architecture of nature.
Content: Moving on further with a 30 min drive reached The Burren which is a remarkable assemblage of plants and animals. Most of the species of flowers are found here. We trekked through the trails, lime stones and woods. Hiking shoes are highly recommended.
Content: Checked-in to hotel near to airport after a 1 hour of drive. Staff were cooperative, high standard cleanliness, receptionist was polite and rooms were huge and warm.
Content: Relaxed at hotel and later took a short drive to a local restaurant for dinner. Ordered Burger and french fries both were average, ambiance was decent, staff was friendly and price were affordable.
Day 9 - 9 Apr 2019
Content: Skipped breakfast and took a 15 min short drive to Shannon Airport from where we boarded a 9 hour Ryanair flight to Heathrow airport. Check-in was hassle free and crew was very helpful. The food on board was average.
