Day 1 - 18 Aug 2021
Content: We arrived to Positano by car and checked in at cute apartment called Cassetta Fe nel coure di Positano. It’s well located in the center of the town. Unfortunately Positano has one direction narrow streets and there is no place to park for free, so if you are staying for a while and your apartment doesn’t have a parking lot like was in our case, you need to leave your car at paid parking spot. It’s pretty expensive here and they can charge you 5-10€ per hour and 50-80€ per day. If you have time, we recommend you to park at the first suitable parking spot you find on your way and on food visit a few nearby parkings to check, which has the best offer ( even if they have given price you may be able to negotiate it depending on the number of days you stay - also it my vary depending on the season). *If you arrive to Positano by public transport, it’s a great option. The cities of Amalfi coast are not bad connected with each other by public transport and you can travel very easily by bus from one town to another.

It has really nice view at Positano and the drinks are pretty original. *Thy don’t do reservations. And hotel recommend us to be 30min before the bar opens (they open at 6pm) *The minimum consumption per person is 20€ (usually 1 cocktail costs this there), unless you want to enjoy the view from the first line - then the consumption is 40€ per person. Yep… funcy but expensive. There are other famous terraces to have a drink with great view but you need to do reservation in advance: -Villa Traville Positano -Il San Pietro Hotel!
