Day 1 - 27 Nov 2021
Content: Our trip to Trentino-Alto Adige begins with a bit of relax! What better place than Hotel Belvedere? I mean, look at the beauty of this infinity pool with an amazing view over Bolzano and the valley! It’s such a perfect place to enjoy the sun and romantic moments with your beloved one! Our suite “Amira” was a dream too, with a huge terrace overlooking the mountains!
Content: In the evening the atmosphere becomes even more magical.. when the sun goes down , the lights of the city begin to light and you feel like in a fairytale.. Who would like to take a night swim in the infinity pool with this view?
Day 2 - 28 Nov 2021
Content: Time to explore the beauty that this part of Italy has to offer (Luckily it’s close enough home). First stop first is the Carezza Lake, 1519m high, under the Latemar mountain. This is one of my favorite mountain lakes and I always like to go back in every season especially in winter! I think this snow-covered landscape is even more magical ❄️ There is a very simple path to walk around the lake and it takes about half an hour. ☞ Travel Tip: if you come in December, don’t miss the Christmas markets around the lake every weekend, the mood is fairy tale!
Day 2 - 28 Nov 2021
Content: When you arrive in Val di Fassa you are always enchanted by its beauty (especially in winter season!) The temperatures are freezing but the landscapes you see are totally worth it! Mountains, pine forests and snow, such a winter wonderland, isn’t it?
Day 2 - 28 Nov 2021
Content: One of my favourite restaurants in this valley is “Rezia” in Vigo di Fassa; you can find typical foods of the area with a gourmet twist and a very local heart! So delicious and highly recommended!
Day 3 - 29 Nov 2021
Content: I suggest you to explore the whole Val di Fassa by walk.. There is a beautiful path in the woods along the river that starts from Pozza and goes up to Canazei, as you can see everything is so magical and relaxing!
Day 3 - 29 Nov 2021
Content: There are so many activities to do, you can go skiing, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing! We had a lot of fun skiing for about 20 km.. Quite exhausting but absolutely not to be missed!
Day 4 - 30 Nov 2021
Content: One of my favorite winter places to visit is absolutely Fuchiade, where you can see the famous Marmolada on one side and the Pale di San Martino on the other! It’s such a winter paradise! It starts from the Passo San Pellegrino and in an hour walk in the snow you will arrive in this amazing place through the mountains at 2000m high! There is always so much snow and these little cosy alpine cabins make you feel in a fairytale ❄️
Day 4 - 30 Nov 2021
Content: Where to have lunch? At Rifugio Fuciade for sure! The location is amazing with a beautiful view on the white mountains and the food is so delicious too!
Content: You can also reach Fuciade by horse-drawn sleigh, it’s one of the best winter experience you can have here and it’s totally worth it! It cost 15€ per person and it lasts in total an hour and a half.. They also give you some blankets and a glass of liquor, perfect for warming up in the cold!
Day 5 - 1 Dec 2021
Content: The next morning we drove up to the Pordoi pass (2240m high), it’s always so beautiful to go there.. only mountains, lots of snow and deafening silence.. such a winter dream! It only takes 20 minutes by car from Canazei, and the landscape is just majestic!
Day 5 - 1 Dec 2021
Content: From the Pordoi pass you can also go to the Sella pass (2240m high) .. I mean, look at these breathtaking landscapes.. Super recommended if you want to take some beautiful pictures!
Day 6 - 2 Dec 2021
Content: You can’t leave Südtirol without visiting Braies Lake. Nowadays is very well known on Instagram but it’s not hard to see why! Personally it’s one of my favorite lakes along with Carezza Lake.. I’ve seen it in every season and I can say that winter and autumn are the winners! During winter it’s completely frozen and you can take long walks on it, the atmosphere is just surreal! To see once in life!
Day 6 - 2 Dec 2021
Content: You absolutely have to see this lake during summer and autumn too! The colors are wonderful and everything looks like a painting, which season inspires you most to visit these places?
