Day 1 - 5 Aug 2018
Content: Plane taken for our next adventure together!
Day 1 - 5 Aug 2018
Content: We have arrived in Barcelona! We can't wait to discover it. And guess what? Our hotel is within walking distance of the Sagrada Familia, this is great!
Content: We arrived at our hotel, very clean and comfortable. The location of the hotel is strategic and perfect, because in addition to being a few steps from the Sagrada Familia, there is a supermarket in front of it if anyone would like to do some shopping, and it is close to the various subway lines. In the vicinity of the Sagrada Familia, in addition to the souvenir shops, there are many restaurants, Starbucks, bike rentals (which we personally recommend). So absolutely approved!
Day 2 - 6 Aug 2018
Content: Breakfast in our hotel and then let's go to discover Barcelona! The hotel offers a very rich breakfast, from salty to sweet, but we recommend that you wake up early if you want to find everything!
Content: After strolling through the shops, we went back to the Sagrada Familia to take this postcard! How to reach this viewpoint? In front of the Sagrada Familia there is a park, walk there until you find this beautiful pond. Find your spot and take a great souvenir photo!
Content: Spain means paella, and we ate a really good one in this restaurant! The paella is gluten free, the place is very nice and the lunch was fantastic. It is very big, so we took one divided for two, but if you are very hungry you can also take two each!
Day 3 - 7 Aug 2018
Content: The Barcelona aquarium is very large and very beautiful, there are impressive areas where fish swim over your heads! There are also play areas for children and a great gift shop at the end of the visit!
Content: In front of the entrance / exit to the aquarium, you will find this large shopping center overlooking the Barcelona pier. Here you can stop and buy something, cool off or even have lunch!
Content: Visit inside the Sagrada Familia. Tickets must be booked in advance, and remember to cover your back out of respect for where you are (otherwise they won't let you in). Inside the Sagrada you can find a very nice museum where he explains the whole history of the structure and its construction!
Content: We had dinner in this very good place which offers different specialties!
Day 4 - 8 Aug 2018
Content: We took the subway and arrived at our destination: the triumphal arch! The arch is located in a very nice street, a pedestrian area, with gardens that you can visit.
Content: In the Ciutadella park, or the street in front of the triumphal arch, you can easily reach the Barcelona Zoo. We paid a little visit to these animals, and walked with the free peacocks!
Content: Small stop at Starbucks to relax after this hot day!
Content: Dinner with a crazy view in front of the Sagrada Familia. We ate very good!
Day 5 - 9 Aug 2018
Content: Overall favorite place is this fantastic park designed by Gaudi, with gardens and architectural elements, located in the upper part of the city of Barcelona. The park is a fantastic experience to see and do, we took a taxi from the Sagrada Familia and it took us very little compared to buses! You can book tickets already, which I recommend you do because the park is always very crowded. You will find a bar inside that also offers small lunches, but if you want to visit it all, bring a packed lunch because it is really big with different areas!
Day 5 - 9 Aug 2018
Content: Casa Batllò is another Gaudi work in the center of Barcelona, easily reachable also thanks to the metro. Considered one of his most original creations, the building was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005. You can visit it inside by booking tickets!
Content: Walking through the main street of Barcelona we reached the Hard Rock Cafe (you have to walk a little, but as usual it's worth it), where we stopped to look at the place, buy souvenirs and have dinner!
Day 6 - 10 Aug 2018
Content: A must-visit stop is the Barcelona stadium. The place looks like a real museum, they make you go down to the camp, sit on the chairs, see all the rooms that the building has. They also take souvenir photos for you that you can buy with one of their albums at the shop.
Content: We hired bikes to tour the city. If you have the opportunity, I recommend that you rent them already on the first day, you will save yourself the subway and buses, because Barcelona can also be easily explored by bike!
Content: Stop at the most famous market in Spain!
Day 7 - 11 Aug 2018
Content: Departure and last Spanish breakfast with churros while we wait for our flight!
