Content: Ah Venice! I visited this gorgeous city in January 2020 and fell in love with the narrow winding streets and cross-crossing bridges over innumerable canals. As I meandered around the city all day, taking in the color, coffee and scrumptious delicacies, I stopped at the Rialto bridge, Campanile di San Marco, St.Marks square, the Doge’s palace,?Bridge of sighs and St. Mark’s Basilica to take in the unique architecture, steeped in history. A vaporetto ride is a must-do and while you are there, definitely contemplate a gondola ride serenaded by a musical boatsman. I was also able to take a short trip to Murano and view a glass-blowing demonstration, but did not have enough time for Burano’s lace making. Oh well.. for next time!
