Content: We landed in Nice and took a tram to our hotel that was very central!
Hotel D'Ostende
Content: Just behind the Notre Dame cathedral and near to the tram stop, this hotel was very clean and nice! Found on Booking, Staff speaks English which it's not that obvious!
Notre Dame
Content: Just behind our hotel there was this beauty: Notre Dame of Nice! Very similar to the famous in Paris, the church was closed but very spectacular indeed!
St Nicholas Russian Orthodox Cathedral
Content: Even if a bit far from the centre, you need to see this stunning Ortodox Church! Really look-alike the Russian ones, this beautiful church is the larger Orthodox church in Europe outside the borders of Russia. It'struly majestic and stupendous, not to mention the richness and uniqueness of its interiors: golden walls and rich decorations are ready to welcome you, in religious and sacre silence.
Place Massena
Content: We took the tram and went back to the centre, In the most important square of Nice: the beautiful Place Massena, with its walkable mirror of water, which is beautifuler in Christmas time: there is the Christmas village, but keep reading, we'll talk about it later on!
Castle of Nice
Content: Just a little walk distance from place Massena theres the elevator or the stairs to get the Castle Hill, the beautiful ruin of the Castle of Nice. Up there was very beautiful, and the panorama was just WOW! You can see all the city and the beautiful blue sea from up there, and we found an hidden gem: a cascade! Astonishing wild beauty, deserved all the humidity in our hair to took beautiful photos and videos!
Promenade des Anglais
Content: We took the stairs to went down the castle and had a relaxing walk thru Promenade des Anglais, the seafront street, longer than 2 km where you can find all sorts of restaurants and bars! Here you can find the gigantic write "I love Nice" !
Hippopotamus Steakhouse
Content: We had a very good burger at, right on the place Massena! Super recommended, beautiful place and good food!
Jardin Albert 1er
Content: Since was Christmas time, we visited the beautiful Christmas Village which takes place every year from early December to January near place Massena, in the Jardin Albert. The entrance is totally free and definitely deserves a visit to live the magic of Christmas!

Parc Phœnix
Content: We took the tram, Parc Phoenix stop! The Phoenix Park, labeled as "Remarkable Garden", is a green setting of 7 hectares which gives home to over 2,500 species of plants and more than 2000 animals, represented by 70 different species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and insects! Its pyramid-shaped greenhouse, called "Green Diamond" , is one of the highest in Europe: over 7,000 m2 and 25 meters high; 6 different tropical and subtropical climates are reconstituted: here we found the beautiful pink flamingos! Recommended for both adults and children! Ticket price € 5.20 Reduced 12-18 years and students € 3
Cathédrale Sainte-Réparate de Nice
Content: We visited the coloured tiny streets of the historical Nice, near place Massena, and theSainte Reparate Cathedral: we found a beautiful Nativity's rapresentation as well!
Cours Saleya
Content: Every morning, in cours Saleya, im the old town of Nice, you can find till 1 P.m the Saleya Market, with fresh produce, cheeses, olives, herbs, flowers and charms! You can see the true vitality of the city, a spectacle not to be missed! All the Old Town in general is so full of life, colors, happiness!
Café Ballanger
Content: We stopped at cafè Ballanger for a Lotus and banana Waffle and a vanilla latte; you can't miss it!
Place Massena
Content: We had a light street food lunch in place Massena, where you can find Socca vendors. Socca is a traditional dish from Nice, a chickpeas flatbrea cooked street-side on fiery grills, where the resulting flatbread is coarsely chopped and served with a sprinkling of salt and pepper! Super super delicious!
Le Café de Turin
Content: We stopped yo take a photo at the famous and ancient Café de Turin in nice, the best seafood and fish bar and restaurant in Nice!
The delicacies of angea
Content: You can't miss this gem in the old Nice! The shop is exquisite, and the food too! We had a delicious salted-caramel macaron glacè, a giant macaron full of ice cream! SUPERB!!

Nice-Ville
Content: From the train station Nice-Ville, which was 5 min walk distance by our hotel, we took the train that in half an hour brought us to Monaco - Montecarlo! Ticket price is around 4 euro per way

Monaco-Monte-Carlo station
Content: We arrived at the station and had breakfast in a Starbucks we found: cinnamon roll and chai latte all the way!
Monte Carlo Casino
Content: Monaco is very small so you can move by walk, and so we reached the Casino: how wonderful!!! It's like a castle with his gardens, so charming,and beautiful! And there are so many luxury fashion shop around! We visited it and than moved to the street which takes to the pier, to have lunch!
Steak 'n Shake Monaco
Content: We had a very good cheese burger at Steak 'n Shake fast food, by the sea, and a delicious smoothie! Very good quality food and cheap prices! We had the chance to charge phones too at our table!
Princess Grace Japanese Garden
Content: By walking by the pier, we discovered this hidden beauty: you can find all the essential components of a Japanese garden: a pond, islands, a waterfall, lanterns, bridges, a tea house and a Zen garden, and even koi carps in the lake! The entrance is free and ghe Opening hours are 9 am to 5.45 pm or 6.45 pm (depending on season)!

Content: Passing by the Yacht Club, some people invited us to join their Christmas party and offered Christmas delicacies! How fun!

Content: We visited this beautiful and sumptuous Shopping centre! It's huge and beautiful, and definitely deserves a visit!
Monte Carlo
Content: We went back to the pier and visited the beautiful Christmas village! Free entry of course!
Prince's Palace of Monaco
Content: We decided to walk up on the hill and visit the beautiful prince's Palace: the atmosphere was amazing and the old city with all the little shops and thight streets made us feel like to be into a fairy-tale! Breathtaking view from the above!
