Day 1 - 14 Oct 2021
Content: We arrived in Rome by train and walked from the train station to our hotel (which is only 2-3 minutes). We took the train from Florence, the train is a very good option to travel within Italy, it’s cheap, it goes regularly and it’s comfortable.
Content: We absolutely loved our stay here! The hotel is just a 2 minutes located from the train station and you can walk to most of the tourist attractions (like the colosseum). It’s run by a lovely couple, the rooms are clean and there’s a kitchen that you can use. It’s possible to book breakfast as well.
Content: After you’re settled into the hotel it’s time to get some lunch. This café is a 10 min. walk from the hotel. We had a plate with croissant, cake, fruit, orange juice and a cappuccino for €9.
Content: After your lunch you can walk to the colosseum which is only 5 min. away from the café. This time we took pictures from the outside but it’s possible to buy tickets to visit inside as well.
