Content: We then moved to Lake Barcis, here it is possible to make various excursions on foot, or take a train that goes around the lake.

Content: After spending the afternoon at the lake we headed to the hotel we chose to spend 2 nights. A beautiful and modern structure, nestled in the mountains, in which there is also a swimming pool.

Content: We started our second day by reaching a small village in the Carnic Alps, also known as "the country of clocks". In this hamlet you will be able to see all kinds of watches, to be found through a sort of treasure hunt. You can also visit the watch museum.

Content: For lunch we went to a typical restaurant and tried "gnocchi di Sauris", a very good dish from the area π

Content: we then moved to another beautiful lake, "Lago di Sauris". Here you can visit the dam, go for walks and even rent canoes to relax π₯°

Content: As the last stage we continued towards the "Passo Pura". An oasis surrounded by greenery, where flora and fauna are protected. Here you can take walks in the mountains and stop in the refuge to taste some delicious cakes π

Content: After leaving our hotel we headed to Tarvisio, one of the most famous cities in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is possible to visit the village and then I recommend you to take the funicular that takes you to "Monte Lussari", an unmissable gem! A small village and a sanctuary built on top of a mountain.

Content: Then we gone to Fusine Lakes, among the most beautiful in the whole region. I recommend you to take the path that surrounds the largest lake, because it offers breathtaking views π

Content: We then left the mountain and headed towards the center of the region, choosing a beautiful hotel in a strategic point for the destinations of the following days. There is also a pizzeria restaurant, perfect for your dinner π₯°

Content: We have dedicated this day to visiting some of the most famous places in the province of Udine. The first village is San Daniele del Friuli, particularly known for the production of the delicious raw ham. It's a nice little city too.

Content: For lunch we went to a typical restaurant, to taste their raw ham; it was all very good! The place is beautiful and there is a room that you can visit, where you can see how the hams are made.

Content: We then moved to Cividale, a beautiful village famous above all for its devil's bridge. Ideal place to spend a few hours, getting lost in its alleys.

Santuario di Castelmonte
Content: Not far from Cividale and the Slovenian border is this beautiful Sanctuary. It is built on a hill and around it there is a small village. It is perfect for enjoying the sunset, thanks to the wonderful view it offersπ₯

Content: After check-out to our hotel we left for Aquileia, a city where there are remains of Roman civilization. Here you can visit several archaeological excavations, in addition to the main basilica where there are several mosaics and paintings π

Content: Not far from Aquileia is Grado, a peninsula on the sea. The center of this village is beautiful and you can also enjoy the seafront. We had lunch in a kiosk on the sea and then we relaxed on the beach.

Content: We then reached the last accommodation chosen, a very simple but modern hotel perfect for spending a night. It is located not far from Trieste!

Miramare Castle
Content: On the last day we decided to visit the famous Miramare Castle. A beautiful fortress, surrounded by huge gardens, overlooking the sea. This was the summer residence of Princess Sissi and I recommend that you visit its interior, full of historical objects. The gardens surrounding the castle are also beautiful.

Trieste
Content: Last stop was the famous city of Trieste. Do not miss the main square, the port and its streets, one more beautiful than the other. There are many places where you can relax with a drink.
