Day 1 - 15 Jun 2019

Il Caravaggio Orio al Serio International Airport

Provincia di Bergamo, Il Caravaggio Orio al Serio International Airport

Content: This itinerary is based on my trip to Lake Como and Cinque Terre that I took in June 2019. We landed in Milano Bergamo airport from where we took the train to Varenna. Italy has a good rail network (albeit the trains are sometimes late), so my suggestion is to use the train instead of renting a car. Besides, driving in Italy is often difficult: think narrow roads, high traffic, restricted zones (ZTLs) and hard to find parking spots.
