Day 1 - 7 Sep 2020
Content: We started our journey by reaching the accommodation we stayed in for 3 nights: a beautiful apartment in the heart of Venice.
Content: After checking in and arranging our things we decided to take a first tour of Venice and we arrived at one of its symbols, the church of the Madonna della Salute. I absolutely recommend you to visit it!
Content: We then headed to a nearby and little known place, the squero of San Trovaso where the famous gondolas are produced.
Content: We then continue our walk around Venice, waiting for the sunset which I recommend to see in this place!
Content: When dinner time arrived we then headed to a typical restaurant, built inside an old Venetian oven. We tried some typical Venetian things: spritz and mixed cicchetti
Content: After dinner we decided to take a walk again to see the wonderful illuminated Rialto Bridge. A show not to be missed!
Day 2 - 8 Sep 2020
Content: We started the day super excited in beautiful Venice! We headed to the symbol of this city, the wonderful Piazza San Marco.
Content: A few minutes walk from Piazza San Marco is this very famous bridge, so called because once the prisoners passed before being taken to the Venetian prisons.

Content: The Arsenal of Venice is an ancient complex of shipyards and workshops that make up a very large part of the island city of Venice, at its eastern end. It was the heart of the Venetian naval industry.

Content: The hunger starts to make itself felt so we went back to the restaurant we liked so much the night before to try their dishes.
Content: In the afternoon we decided to go to one of the most photographed places in Venice: the Acqua Alta bookshop. In addition to being a beautiful place full of books, many kittens find refuge inside.
Content: After the tour of the bookshop we headed to another little known place, the Scala Contarini del Bovolo. Once you climb to the top you can admire one of the most beautiful views and see Venice in all its splendor. Ticket price is € 7

Content: We continued the evening getting lost in the streets of Venice, before returning to our apartment to cook an excellent dinner.
Day 3 - 9 Sep 2020
Content: The third day we decided to dedicate ourselves to visit the islands of the Venice Lagoon. To do this it is necessary to take the vaporetto; I recommend that you buy the 24-hour day ticket, which costs € 20 and you can take all the routes. The first island visited was Murano, famous for its glass production. As soon as we arrived we decided to take typical spritz and cicchetti; it was all so abundant that we no longer needed lunch. This island is not very big so you can go around it all, go into the shops to buy the products made of glass and maybe see how they are processed.
Content: We then took the vaporetto to reach another island, the most famous: Burano. It is one of the most colorful places in the world, famous for its colorful houses. According to a legend, it was the fishermen who painted their house, in order to recognize it from afar during the long periods of absence due to fishing. It is a beautiful island, you absolutely have to go around it all and discover every single corner.
Content: The last stop of the day was the island of Torcello, a green oasis particularly famous for its Ponte del Diavolo.

Content: When it was time to leave Venice, we check-out and took a last walk around the city, also to buy souvenirs.

Content: Before leaving the city altogether we decided to have one last lunch in our favorite restaurant in Venice.

Content: We then took the car and headed to the second area we decided to visit: the Prosecco Hills. First we reached our accommodation: a beautiful and brand new Boutique Hotel right in the heart of the Hills, in Valdobbiadene.
Content: After arranging our things we took the car and drove the main road, to admire the hills in all their beauty and to take some photos. After the tour we did a tasting of Prosecco and typical wines. In this area there are many companies that organize these experiences, you can also organize yourself directly with the hotel.
Day 4 - 10 Sep 2020
Content: For dinner we had another experience: dinner in the vineyard. Trattoria Alla Cima allows its guests to enjoy an exclusive dinner, with a 5-course surprise menu, directly among the vineyards. Absolutely not to be missed!

Content: After spending a beautiful evening, between good food and lots of wine, we calmly got up and taste the delicious breakfast offered by our hotel, served directly on a terrace overlooking the hills.

Content: In the afternoon we decided to visit some places in the surrounding area. The first stop was Cison di Valmarino, one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, famous for its via dei mulini.

Content: Not far from the center of the village you can take the funicular that leads to a beautiful castle, from here you can admire a unique landscape! Inside the castle there is also a Spa, if you want to spend a few hours relaxing.

Content: After returning to the village with the funicular, we made one last stop before returning to the hotel, an aperitif with another typical wine.
Day 6 - 12 Sep 2020
Content: On the day of our return we had another big breakfast and check out. Before heading home, however, we visited some other unmissable stops. The first place was a beautiful old mill, a place that seems straight out of a fairy tale: Molinetto della Croda.

Content: We then headed to another beautiful village: Follina. In addition to visiting the village its Abbey is not to be missed, famous for its beautiful Romanesque cloister.

Content: Before returning, it was mandatory to drink another glass of prosecco, to make the return a little less sad!
