Day 1 - 12 May 2019
Content: We took Overnight flight of KLM airlines from Singapore Airport Schiphol to Leonardo da Vinci International Airport having one stop change in middle at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Then After by using local taxi service we reached at Welcome Airport Hotel within 15 minutes.
Content: Budget friendly 2*hotel Featuring private entrances, the unassuming rooms with tile floors offer complimentary Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and in suite bathrooms, as well as air-conditioning. We enjoyed our breakfast and some relaxing time.
Content: Needless to say it was pure beauty, and without tourists you can really feel the magic. Don’t forget your water bottle specially in summer. Worth every single euro spent.
Content: It's an amazing monument and place to visit. The interior and architecture of this place are amazing. Once we enter into church the interior design leave us amazed. If lucky may even get to glimpse His Holiness the Pope if they look into his Mass times.
Content: Place is one of the must visit attractions in Rome. You can enjoy it even without entering inside the Colosseum building & from different sides. It is easy to get lost, because it is not really well signposted.
Content: It was 2.5hours dinner cruise on the Tiber River. Along with the magnificent views of Rome from the water, you’ll enjoy a 4 course meal accompanied by live music. If you like dancing, you can even move your feet to the rhythm of the beat after dinner.
Day 2 - 13 May 2019
Content: An hour and 10 mins drive from Rome. The Duomo Di Orvieto is amazing. The outside of the church has cravings that cover the bible from Genesis to Revelation. The inside of the church the stained-glass windows are wonderful pieces of history. And to have some coffee in front of this church is one of the most sublime experiences.
Content: We had around 25 people in our tour group so that wasn’t too bad. The tour itself took about an hour and was very informative about the city and the underground that had been built. Very interesting tour.
Content: When you walking down deeper and deeper you can see this very clever architecture and the double spiral, all over perfectly lighted. Very impressive at first but not to visit this place for a second time. However for one time it is highly recommended. Not for people who have difficulties climbing steps, there are around 400 steps.
Day 2 - 13 May 2019
Content: After viewing Orvieto we left for Venice via road which was 4 and half hour away. The staff alone is worth the stay, but the ambiance of the rooms and history of the building itself should not be taken lightly.
Content: For enjoying night meal we walked to the nearby Soul Kitchen Cafe . The Pasta and Desserts food services were just so awesome, left an incredible taste memory
Day 3 - 14 May 2019
Content: The earlier you can get started exploring on your one day in Venice, the better as city gets very crowded. While crossing the bridge, be sure to take the time to admire the Grand Canal views from both directions.
Content: Take a few minutes once you arrive to stroll through the piazza it really is lovely and if you’re so inclined, take an iconic photo with Venice’s pigeons or sip an expensive coffee at one of the famous cafes that line the piazza.
Content: Touring the church is free, though if you happen to get a late start to your day in Venice and the lines are too long. St. Mark’s Basilica is an icon of Venice and absolutely worth a visit.
Content: It was a smooth ride, we saw a lot of beautiful scenery, and we were thrilled, to be honest. Venice is a city with a lot of problems to fix, and many people have moved out, so I am glad we saw it when we did. Our gondola driver was very capable and friendly, so overall a great day.
Content: I would definitely recommend arriving early to this photo spot. Super wonderful bridge in Venice and its one of the most famous spots in Venice.
Day 3 - 14 May 2019
Content: It was very enjoyable day in Venice and In evening somehow we managed to reach at Lake Garda by train taking time of 3 hours. Fast and friendly check in, beautiful views from camp. Good size pitches and generally really well maintained.
Content: After taking dinner in the hotel restaurant, took shower and enjoyed good night sleep. after all entire day was full of walk tour.
Day 4 - 15 May 2019
Content: The tour includes light refreshments too. Wear sandals so you can feel the fresh and clean lake water. Most amazing place with fantastic gardens but must be pre-arranged since it's privately owned.
Day 4 - 15 May 2019
Content: It took us 3 and half hours to by car. It’s located about 10 minutes walk from Ponte Vecchio in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Very clean with a cool, modern bathroom.
Content: The church looks marvellous from the outside, the first time you see it just leaves you in awe of this beauty. Worth going to the top of the Duomo, would be a nice workout if you can get on top of the Giotto's tower as well although you get a much better view of the city from the Duomo.
Content: The collection is truly remarkable. It is one of the most important Italian museums and the most visited. We were relieved to find a cafeteria since we got hungry halfway through. The food in the cafe was extremely delicious particularly the organic vegetarian mushroom risotto.
Content: It runs seamlessly from the road and shops so much so that you almost don't know that you're on the bridge. That being said, still a very photogenic location.
Content: The beauty and history of this place is in tact inside. Can't stop taking lot of photos into my facebook and instagram. Their is also refreshment for everybody that can enjoy the food specially the places around this area.
Content: We had the crostini sampler, fresh tomato focaccia, zucchini flower focaccia, and cecina with ham and truffle. All such unique Tuscan dishes, all very delicious, at very reasonable prices.
Day 5 - 16 May 2019
Content: After breakfast, we head to explore new spot Tuscany which was at walking distance. San Gimignano is a small walled hill town known as the City of Beautiful Towers for its 14 surviving medieval towers. You can climb one of them for great views of the Tuscan countryside.
Day 5 - 16 May 2019
Content: It also very crowded with tourists and vendors. Pisa is a very cute Italian city, but you have to get away from the tower. Don’t take anything from the vendors, they will try to hand you something then make you pay for it. It is not a must-see, but is a fun stop if you close
Content: It needs to walk all the way at the back of the cathedral to get a ticket and go back to the entrance. Suggest to go to the ticket office first thing to avoid going back and forth. they do not sell tickets at the entrance so you need to deal with everything at the ticket office even for the free entrance. Definitely worth the effort because the cathedral is so beautiful inside and the outside.
Content: Lot of space to move around and click photos. You can even get closer to Pisa tower without being interrupted by people there. However you cannot go into the grassy area since it's prohibited there.
Content: An excellent location, friendly staff and beautiful grounds. We took rest for couple of hours as whole day we spend walking. This hotel was 10 mins from Leaning tower.
Content: We enjoyed delicious Italian food at restaurant and casual pizzerias. Enjoyed the live-music venues also. Then returned back to the hotel.
Day 6 - 17 May 2019
Content: We left from Pisa soon after early breakfast, it was one n half hour drive. Stayed in Double Room with Balcony that had a sea view, and it was incredible. Must be one of the best views in Vernazza. Absolutely recommend splurging for that room. The interior was very nicely decorated too, quite large, and very clean.
Content: The only village with a sandy beach. Grab a coffee and cornetto at the bar, stroll through the shops, and, if it interests you, duck into the highly memorable Oratorio dei Neri, which is a church decorated with human skeletons.
Content: The hike from Monterosso al Mare to Vernazza is considered one of the most difficult but rewarding place. Even if you’re not hiking much, we recommend taking 10 minutes to climb up and admire this view.
Content: We took a train from Vernazza for Corniglia. If you’re running out of time we probably recommend cutting this one.
Content: Riomaggiore is home to the largest population of the five villages and yet it feels delightfully tiny, and is home to postcard-worthy views, tasty seafood and even a few places to cliff jump if you feel so inclined.
Content: It's not a restaurant with full meals but great assortments for nibbles. The view from the top of this place is amazing and you can really take in the view.
Day 7 - 18 May 2019
Content: After breakfast left for Siena via car, it took 3 hours. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. It is in a part of town that makes it easy to walk to nearly everywhere. Our room had a large window that opened up to a beautiful view of the countryside.
Content: Soon after dropping luggage at hotel we left for this gorgeous cathedral. In addition to visiting the cathedral, there are several other worthwhile rooms and museums to visit like the museum, the Baptistery and The Door to Heaven. During the busy summer months, book your tickets in advance because they do sell out. We recommand buying The Porta del Cielo All Inclusive Pass.
Content: This large open area is framed by brick buildings, restaurants, and the Palazzo Pubblico the town hall of Siena. It’s best to avoid the main squares for lunch and dinner. The food tends to be overpriced and mediocre. We still recommend it because the setting is phenomenal. Keep in mind that these restaurants are more about the view than the food.
Content: From the top you will have a spectacular view over Siena, if not one of the best panoramic views in all of Italy. An amazing place to visit.
Content: Explore the city streets, go shopping, and have a glass of wine or coffee at a cafe. The heart of Siena is pedestrian only, making this city a joy to wander through.
Content: If you are looking for a budget restaurant that serves great food this is a nice option. This wine bar and restaurant serves paninis and cheese and meat platters. They close at 8 pm.
Day 8 - 19 May 2019
Content: Left early morning from Siena for Rome airport as we had to catch flight back to Singapore. We had wonderful time in Italy but days were too short to explore every destination.
