Content: We arrived at Kraków Airport and then accommodated in this superb hotel. Very clean and comfy, testy food in the restaurant and very rich breakfast. Also staff was lovely.
Content: Saint Mary's Basilica, first must see place in Kraków. The interiors of the Basilica is even more rich and stunning. During Christmas there are many markets in this square. As a souvenir I bought a traditional hand painted egg.
Content: This place is perfect for shopping. In this hall you can find several food shops and souvenir markets. In this square there is also the Rynek underground museum (price 28 złoty).
Day 2 - 18 Oct 2021
Content: Wawel Castle is one of the best places to visit in Kraków. Situated next to the river. To reach the area take bus 252, ticket price costs only 6 złoty. Here you can also visit the Wawel Cathedral and go up to the tower to enjoy a wanderful view.
Content: Behind the statue laying at the base of the Wawel hill, next to the river, there are many legends. Every five minutes the statue breathe fire, so be quick for a cool shot because it lasts only a few seconds.

Content: One of my favorite excursions was at the Salt Mine. The mine is located outside of Kraków, we reached the Mine with local busses. The tour takes 2 or 3 hours and a guide will explain you detailed history of the salt mine. The “Wieliczka” Salt Mine is an extraordinary place – hidden from the world, full of secrets and legends.
Content: Rooms are intentionally decorated to tell the story and legends of the salt mine. Deep underground, but only 2% is accessible to the visitors. there is a salt labyrinth! If you don’t know the way, you could easily get lost.

Content: There is no need to explain much about this place. Nobody can ever forget the countless persecutions, deaths and pains that 1.1 million people have suffered. Today Auschwitz-Birkenau is a memorial and Museum of the former German Nazi Concentration and Extermination Camp.

Content: Pictures of every single prisoner, relicts and their belonging are protected in the museum since 1947. I recommend visiting with an educator to allow a better understanding of this unique place.

Content: Photos represent typical interiors of the washrooms, soldiers rooms, common areas where prisoners were kept.
Content: You can also donate a small amount of money to support the work of maintaining, conserving the vestiges of the Holocaust.

Content: During the transfer from Kraków to the next town, we stopped to Będzin Castle as it was on the way and worth to visit. The Będzin Castle is a castle in Będzin in southern Poland. The stone castle dates to the 14th century, and is predated by a wooden fortification that was erected in the 11th century.
Day 4 - 20 Oct 2021
Content: The next stop in Poland was Wroclaw. This city surprised us for his old and interesting history. During 2nd World War, the city was bombarded and completely destroyed. Later on, the historical building have been rebuild to give back to the city his original beauty.
Content: This was an exceptional hotel, beautiful staff, friendly and very helpful. Value for money, parking, excellent breakfast and food in the restaurant. Everything was very cozy and nice.

Content: Below my itinerary suggestions for your visit to Wroclaw : 🔹Old Town 🔹Market Square 🔹Cathedral Island 🔹Old Town Hall 🔹Royal Palace Very interesting fact is that Wroclaw is called as Poland's Venice as the city is crossed by more than 100 bridges.
Content: Fun activity for the kids is "hunting" the dwarfs that you can find all around the city. These are small figurines 20-30cm tall and nowadays there are already 600 of them, but the number is still growing.
Content: Traditional polish food and great homemade spirits. It was a great experience. Definitely recommend visiting when in Wroclaw.

Content: The Market Square is a medieval market square, it's one of the main square of the city for the particular facades of the houses. Each building has a different colour and it invites you to sit in a pub, caffeteria or restaurant.
Content: Excellent dining experience, lovely traditional restaurant serving delicious local food. Highly efficient and kind staff. Also delicious wine. As a final recommended, I definitely advise visiting Poland because it's a very cheap country, full of beauty and history. There is not a specific period when it's advisable to visit Poland as every month can be good. Just plan your trip and enjoy my suggested itinerary!
