Content: Near Tower Clérigis is a very cool place called Casa Oriental that sells canned fish! If you are bored of the magnets as souvenirs, consider buying a canned fish - sardines or cod fish!

Content: Within a few minutes you can easily access this chapel. Hands down one of the most iconic building in Porto. Definitely visit! Pro tip: if you are keen on photography, make sure you have a morning walk here (before 9am). It’s this empty as you see on the photos but once the city awakens tons of tourists come here.

Content: Start strolling down on the river bank & if you or your little one(s) need some coffee/cake break to refuel, do not hesitate to sit in one of the many bars along the way. There are many street performers too do you’ll be entertained for sure!

Content: After the break cross the Luís bridge again - but this time on the upper level! Also breathtaking views are guaranteed. (For the epic Porto postcard photos you can search for the Kitties Rock lookout spot but I would suggest it to search with at least bigger child(ren). Nevertheless I wanted to mention here) 😉

Content: After lunch, grab a direct bus from Trindade center, alternatively an Uber & head towards the ocean! The aquarium is just by the ocean! ☺️ The entry fee is a bit pricey in my opinion, but - there is an outdoor area where you can have a nice picnic - you can enter & re-enter as many times as you wish on the given day - we totally recommend it for families with a toddler as it was just the right size! The zoo must be a really great place but I’m sure it would have been too big space for a toddler. Here we could see everything & it was vearable for everyone.

Content: After the aquarium you can either walk or take the buses for a few stops & have a cozy stroll at Pergola da Foz. We had such a great time here.

Content: You can find azulejos (the famous blue and white tiles) on almost every building but I bet you haven’t been in such a beautiful train station! It’s amazing on its own but if one of the family members love trains it’s a heaven! Warning: we were not allowed to use the tripod!

Content: No trip would be complete without visiting the cathedral of Porto. This huge cathedral is a must see place in the city. Before the cathedral you have plenty of place for the kids to roam around. Note: we had our stroller with us and although the place is not really stroller friendly we were totally fine grabbing it a few times!
