Day 1 - 11 Mar 2019
Content: Took Delta airlines from New York, it was non stop 7 hours comfortable flight. Airport workers were nice and supportive. Lisbon airport is small but filled with great stuff.
Content: Classy hotel at reasonable price. Shuttle service is huge benefit here. Room was large and comfortable. Transport to the airport was complimentary and scheduled.
Content: Guided tour is probably a good idea if you want to understand more of the history as it has less explanatory display. This beautiful castle can be seen in an hour. Definitely worth it. Go early to avoid crowds.
Content: Nice place to relax and enjoy the view. One of the best view over the wonderful city of Lisbon. Easy to get there by tram. Lots of bars and restaurants and little alleyways to discover up there. It’s a great place to take some awesome pictures.
Content: It's great way to spend 30 mins. Lovely views across the city, great place for photos and reasonably priced. Normally the queue is very long to access the lift.
Content: This place can get a bit busy during sunset but there’s plenty of room. Really worth going up and having a chance to just sit and have a drink or hear some music and enjoy Portuguese pastries.
Content: Everyone who visits the city has to eat here at least once. Garlic butter shrimp and oyster were delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. There can be waits but it's worth it.
Day 2 - 12 Mar 2019
Content: The park is beautiful and very well maintained. The shapes of bushes make it more interesting. To enjoy it at its quietest and its best try to go early in the day.
Content: There is public transportation nearby and is easy to access. Can easily spend 3 hours. The area has plenty of restaurants, shopping, and a few other things. Definitely worth a trip as it is also a nice area with a cable car ride by the river.
Content: This place gets very hot in the middle of the afternoon. It is also very bright due to the light colour of building, so sunglasses are must to carry. The best pineapple slices and juices are sold here.
Content: Buy your ticket in advance as the lines are very long. The downside is that there is no metro around. Visit early morning or while closing time to take better pictures as crowd will be less.
Content: We had dinner at our hotel Radisson Blu. We tried international dishes here and it was good enough. Staff was very polite and happy to serve.
Day 3 - 13 Mar 2019
Content: Today we left early after breakfast for a day trip to Sintra. This is beautiful place. We suggest everyone just go there and sit for a while you will find peace in mind and soul. Nice viewpoints over the high cliffs. It was less crowded early morning.
Content: This palace and it's landscape is truly a site not to be missed. You can easily spend half day here. There is a bus that will take you from the main gate up the hill to the palace if you don't want to walk. The staff was very friendly, helpful and informative. Check for fog if you want to take photos of the place. Weather can change rather quickly.
Content: This place has stunning views so carry your camera, also suggested for physically fit people as there are lots of steps and much to see. There are places to sit and rest as well. Also bring a scarf or something because it can get very cold and windy there.
Content: Come early to avoid the lines to get a ticket. Well kept and the national park is full of things to see. Definitely follow the map they give, you don’t want to miss a thing.
Content: This castle and park are so unique, that it is definitely worth paying a visit. Need atleast 2 hours to walk around. We enjoyed the walk but were very tired walking whole day. This place is like a fairy tale come to life with secret tunnels that lead to waterfalls.
Content: Incomum is one of the must try restaurants in Sintra. The presentation of the dishes were very appealing and taste was delicious. Also good collection in wine gallery. Dont miss dessert.
Day 4 - 14 Mar 2019
Content: This is a reasonably priced attraction and it has really nice photo opportunities of the river and waterfront. There are lot of stairs to climb so wear comfortable shoes.
Content: Really impressive and thought off concept with monument shaped as sailing ship. Very photogenic monument it was. The line to climb on top was too big, but it was worth waiting. There are a few food trucks around the place to buy refreshments and drinks.
Content: The visit to 25th April Bridge is a must during your time in Lisbon. You can cross it by car, bus or train. It would be very nice around the sunset time as suggested by locals.
Content: If you like seafood this place is a must to try. You could taste every single ingredient in every dish. Interesting wines and amazing service.
Day 5 - 15 Mar 2019
Content: Took 1 hr and 45 mins from Lisbon via bus to reach Obidos. Castle was very beautiful, you can walk on fortress all around castle looks great from every angle. The streets are extremely smooth and kind of slippery so be careful walking down hill.
Content: There are small boutiques and stores that sell medieval items of all sorts. The prices are so reasonable. We highly recommend you purchase a bottle of their liquor and look into their linen as well, it is handmade and the workmanship is amazing.
Content: IT was very curious and interesting structure. It is open every day except Mondays.
Content: One can enjoy authentic Portuguese cuisine here. Service is wonderful and staff is very attentive. We tried beef steak and lamb chops which was super delicious.
Day 6 - 16 Mar 2019
Content: Took train from Lisbon and arrived in 2 hours 40 mins. Location of this 3* hotel was amazing as it was easy to catch uber. Rooms were very small and bed was'nt comfortable.
Content: For a good panoramic view of the place, you have to walk or catch tram. Worth going and checking it but definitely not incredible
Content: Nice charming garden it was. Go right into the middle of the park and watch the caves and sculptures. Perfect to chill out in evening by having a drink and watch the sunset. There's usually musicians playing on the street.
Content: The first book store that decided to charge entrance fee. It was very crowded which made it impossible to take a good picture. The red staircase was most beautiful. Recommand to visit at time of opening to see beauty of book store without rush.
Content: Here you can find delicious foods, fine vines and great service. Reasonably priced and quick service made is more appealing. The pizzas were extra ordinary.
Day 7 - 17 Mar 2019
Content: It doesn’t take a long time to view all the rooms here but it’s worth a visit. The ballroom was gorgeous, granite stairs lead to magnificent rooms upstairs with a view of the tiled entrance. Nice toilets available for visitors and a gift shop.
Content: We saw the church and the museum. Both places entrance fees is 7.50 euros. And no photos are allowed inside. Make sure you visit the basement and see the crypts. One is see through and you can see all the skeletons.
Content: It is not only a cathedral but a whole system of rooms and terraces lined with azulejos tiles. The queue moves quickly so its worth waiting. A single entry ticket gets you access to everything including the towers and museum.
Content: We chose the 1 hour tour and enjoyed ourselves with the nice views from the Rabelo. Seeing the city and the Six Bridges of Porto from the water was another set of amazing views.
Content: The flowers in the garden are very beautiful and really well kept. Great place to have a walk and chill on the grass or benches. It’s totally worth it to spend an afternoon there.
Content: You will get to taste traditional Portuguese dishes, regional table wines, local pastries, and Port wines. It is 3.5 hour guided walking tour in Downtown Porto. This was one of the best experience we had in Porto
Day 8 - 18 Mar 2019
Content: Took us 40 mins to reach Braga via car. It's the main tourist attraction in Braga. You have to climb and see all the stations, each are different and beautiful. You can also use elevator but this is paid service. Reward yourself with a nice coffee and ice cream at the top.
Content: The cathedral was beautiful and super easy to find. The light placement inside makes it very hard to take pictures. Better to appreciate the beauty rather than try and capture it.
Content: This building was amazing and had an interesting history. The museum inside wasn't that thrilling but the medical history was shocking. Now it's been renovated too much that you can not see the real architecture from its time.
Content: Beautiful park for a walk, benches spread across the garden and very nice lake where you can rent a boat for small trip. I recommend it also because it has the pedestrians path alongside the River.
Day 8 - 18 Mar 2019
Content: Try to get reservations if you don't want to wait. Just drop an email at their website and they are really quick to reply. My service was well attended throughout the meal. Happy with my food, service, and overall experience.
Day 9 - 19 Mar 2019
Content: Douro is known for its steep vineyards. Getting up close to the vineyards and learning about the port making process from locals was definitely a highlight. Our day trip included a tour and port tasting at one vineyard, lunch and another port tasting at another vineyard. A day tour to the Douro Valley will last 8 to 9 hours, but it's absolutely worth it.
Content: Staff here are extremely knowledgeable and makes your visit memorable. It is magic when they take you in astonishing flavors and senses. It is worth every penny. Highly recommanded dining place.
Day 10 - 20 Mar 2019
Content: After descent breakfast at our hotel we left for Lisbon by train. Today is sadly the last day of our trip. Enjoyed scenic views and food at the most. Had to catch flight back to home at 4 pm.
