Day 1 - 1 Oct 2019
Content: We arrived at Faro Airport. This airport is also known as Algarve Airport. The terminal was clean. Staff was amiable, security service was quick. After coming out of the airport we took a rental car and headed towards our accommodation.
Content: We checked in Sunlight House - B & B Faro. Location was perfect. Staff was courteous and welcoming. Service was nice. Room was clean but bed was not comfortable and there was no air-conditioning unit in room. Even bathroom was smelling bad.
Content: Arch was serene ingress to the old town. The place was surrounded with shops, cathedral and restaurants. We enjoyed exploring the place. We visited Cathedral, it was beautiful and the view from the rooftop was stunning. The place is a touristy spot. We also clicked pictures.
Content: For lunch we visited Pigs and Cows. Staff was convivial they explained us well about dish. Service was great. Menu was small but food was presented well and taste was incredible.
Content: Archaeological museum was simply amazing. The place is surrounded by a lovely garden. We learned about Romanian and Islamic history. Paintings inside the museum where exquisite. Cloister was wonderful. Mosaics were also great.
Content: Igreja do Carmo is a elegant church. The architecture of the church was divine. Alters were carved beautifully and facade looked fascinating. We also watched catacombs they were impressive.
Content: Capela dos Ossos is a captivating chapel. The chapel was constructed with human bones. Church was enticing. We spent great time there. Have clicked great memories as well.
Content: Cataplana's Place is a great place for dinner. Staff and service both were nice. We ordered sea food. It was cooked perfectly with pleasant flavors and quantity of the food was also great. After finishing dinner we returned back to our hotel.
Day 2 - 2 Oct 2019
Content: After having breakfast at hotel, we took 1 hr 20 min ride to Castle of Silves. Castle was alluring and well maintained. The place was filled with great Portugal history. We went to terrace of castle, view of the surrounding was fascinating. We had a great time there.
Content: Silves Cathedral is located close to castle of Silves. The Gothic monument was lovely. The cathedral is a immense historical part of Portuguese. The place was filled with lots of tourist.
Content: Ponte Romana De Silves is a mere center of attraction. Bridge was beautiful. The view of the water surrounding the beach was extremely marvelous. We spent some relaxing time there.
Content: Cruz de Portugal is a great monument. Surrounding the monument there is a lovely park. It is an important part of history and classified as National Heritage. We saw beautiful cross which was designed artistically.
Content: The place was having excellent decor. Staff was genial. We ordered regional cake and tea and its taste was delicious. We had a good time.
Content: We checked in hotel Ponte Romana. Location was nice. Staff was affable and service was great. Room was clean and comfortable. View from the terrace was specatacular.
Content: For dinner we visited Churrasqueira Valdemar. Service was nice. We ordered chicken, fries and salad. Chicken tasted heavenly and salad was fresh. After dinner we returned back to our hotel.
Day 3 - 3 Oct 2019
Content: We started our day with delightful breakfast and got ready to explore Silves. We visited Municipal Market Silves. The architecture of the place was incredible. Great place for purchasing local products. Vegetables and fruits were fresh. We enjoyed wandering through the streets.
Content: Restaurant was nice. Service was good. Place was clean and Food was lavish.
Content: Municipal Archeology Museum is a wonderful museum constructed over a old well. The artifacts inside the museum were incredible. The cravings inside the museum where amazing. We enjoyed learning about the history of the place.
Day 3 - 3 Oct 2019
Content: We took 30 min drive to Praia do Camilo located in Lagos. Beach was absolutely serene. The place was crowded. Sea water was amazing. We had adventurous experience while snorkeling. We enjoyed a lot while swimming. Exploring the cave was fun. The place is a great picturesque spot.
Day 3 - 3 Oct 2019
Content: Restaurante Ponte Romana is well decorated place. Staff was congenial. They translated the menu for us, it was very kind of them. Service was nice. Food has super yummy and had an authentic Portuguese taste. After dinner we returned back to our stay.
Day 4 - 4 Oct 2019
Content: After breakfast we left for Castle of Beja, it was 2 hours away. Castle was exquisite. The place is preserved well. We reached castle by climbing the staircase. Landscape was fetching. Ancient sculptures and history were amazing.
Content: Se de Beja is also known as the Church of Santiago Maior . It is a enthralling church. The cloisters were beauteous. The church was constructed in Mannerist style. The carvings inside the church were impressive. Paintings inside the church were nice but they were not maintained well.
Content: Church of Santo Amaro is a wonderful church. The place has great architectural value. We went inside the church, it was beautiful. We spent great time there.
Content: Museum was bewitching. It is one of the interesting place to learn history. The place was filled with enticing art. We also saw the church at the entrance of the museum. Cloisters were amazing. Exhibition inside the museum was great but the information boards did not have translation in English and it was difficult to understand.
Content: We checked in BejaParque Hotel. The location of the hotel was good. Staff was welcoming and gave nice service. The room was clean and comfortable, but the internet connection was not good.
Content: Restaurante intimo has a good interior. Staff was friendly. For dinner we ordered risotto and steak. Both were flavorsome. We enjoyed our food. After finishing dinner we returned back to hotel.
Day 5 - 5 Oct 2019
Content: We started our day with lovely breakfast and left for Serpa. On our way we stopped by Igreja de Santa Maria. It is an old church classified as National monument. Location was nice. The church is constructed with impressive mixture of styles. The interior of the church was spectacular.
Content: Igreja de Nossa Senhora da Saude is a admirable church. The church was located near graveyard.
Content: We stopped by Restaurante Molho Bico for Lunch. Staff was nice. Menu had wide varieties of choice. We ordered lamb, bread soaked in garlic and Serpa cheese. Food was delectable.
Content: Museum was interesting. We saw 2000 clocks on the wall. The collection had many varieties of clock. Guide explained us about the history of watches and watchmakers which amused us.
Content: Museum was beautiful and the exhibition inside the museum crafts of the land was lovely. We saw many traditional crafts of the region. The experience was amazing.
Content: Clock tower is one of the touristy spot in Serpa. The tower was captivating. The church near the tower was stunning.
Day 5 - 5 Oct 2019
Content: We took 1 hr ride to Aljustrel and visited Castle of Messejana. It is a enchanting Portuguese castle. The history of the castle was interesting and the surrounding view was breathtaking.

Content: We took 1 hr ride to Beja. For dinner we stopped by Pizzeria Milano. Staff was friendly. We ordered pizza and pasta, they were savory. After dinner we returned back to our hotel.
Day 6 - 6 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with delish breakfast and took 1 hr drive to Evora. We visited Templo Romano Evora. Also, known as templo de diana. Included under the classification of the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Temple is serene and well maintained. Temple is devoted to Goddess Diana. Roman architecture was spectacular.
Content: Cathedral of Evora was incredible. Church is constructed wonderfully. Inside the church we saw alluring paintings and sculptures. Also, we went to the rooftop of the church and view of the surrounding city was mesmerizing.
Content: Capela dos Ossos is a impressive monument. Inside the chapel we saw a wall filled with bones and skulls of human of dead monks. We also saw nativity scene exhibition, it was interesting.
Content: Church is also known as lugubrious Chapel of the Bones. Church is panoramic. Architecture of the church is Gothic-Manueline style. History of the place is amazing. Church is maintained well
Content: We checked in Mar de Ar Aqueduto hotel. Location was perfect. Staff was cordial and service was nice. Room was clean and bed was comfortable and the basic facilities in the room were nice.
Content: For dinner we visited Restaurante O Moinho. Decor of the place was fantastic. Staff was convivial. Menu was nice. Food was perfectly traditional and had authentic Alentejo taste. After dinner we returned back to hotel.
Day 7 - 7 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with lovely breakfast. We got ready to explore the wonderful Evora city. We visited Museum of Evora. Museum was fascinating. The place was filled great artifacts and wonderful paintings. We learned about history of the city. Audio guides were available there.
Content: Praca do Giraldo is a beautiful main square. The place was surrounded by shops, restaurants and cafe. Architecture of the place was lovely. We clicked lots of pictures there and enjoyed wandering around.
Content: Loios Convent is a old monastery. The church is serene. The collection of the azulejos was wonderful. It is touristy spot and we enjoyed spending time there,
Content: The interior of the place was amazing. We ordered almond pastries, they were simply delicious. We loved this traditional pastry. Absolutely worth a visit.
Content: Jardim Publico is a lovely garden surrounded with trees and a glorious lake and historical remains. We saw many beautiful birds including peacock. The atmosphere was calm and we spent some relaxing time there.
Content: For dinner we stopped by Degust Ar. Staff was cordial and service was nice. Food was succulent. We enjoyed candle light dinner there it was so romantic. After dinner we returned back to our hotel.
Day 8 - 8 Oct 2019
Content: Started our day with healthy breakfast. Later, we took 1 hr drive to Moura and visited Castle of Moura. Landscape was amazing. History of the place was fascinating. The place was great picturesque spot. Surrounding was marvelous.
Content: Igreja do Carmo is a beautiful church devoted to benefactor of city. The place has immense historical value.
Content: Olive oil of Moura is amazing. The procedure through which they extract oil is interesting. Staff was courteous and professional. The quality of olive oil was excellent.
Content: We stopped by Espaco 20 cafe. Staff was friendly and service was nice. We ordered coffee and cake. Both were luscious. We enjoyed spending time there.
Content: We checked in Hotel de Moura. The building of the hotel is spectacular with a nice outdoor pool. Staff was sociable and service was nice. Room was furnished well, was spacious and perfectly clean.
Content: For dinner we went to Restaurante O Vermelhudo. Staff was welcoming and service was good. We ordered cuttlefish, Spaghetti and meat of mullet. Food was extremely delicious and cooked well. We loved our food. After finishing dinner we returned back to our hotel.
Day 9 - 9 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with nice breakfast and headed towards Mouraria de Moura. The place is a serene historical landmark. Streets were lovely and history of the place was amazing.
Content: Igreja Matriz de Sao Joao Baptista is a captivating church. The Manueline architecture was incredible. Tiles in the church were beautiful.
Content: Museu Alberto Gordillo - Joalharia Contemporanea is a wonderful museum. The museum had exquisite collection of jewellary and art. The creativity of the museum was interesting.
Content: Lagar de Varas de Fojo is a admirable museum. We saw the procedure of preparing olive oil, had a great experience.
Content: Cabeca Magra tower is a alluring historical mark. The tower was old but beautiful surrounded by enchanting nature.
Content: For dinner we stopped by Taberna do Liberato restaurant. Atmosphere of the place was lovely, Staff was great and service was nice. We ordered dogfish soup and ham. They tasted savory. After dinner we returned back to our hotel.
Day 10 - 10 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with delightful breakfast and headed towards Alcoutim. We took 2 hrs drive to Praia Fluvial do Pego Fundo. Beach was beautiful and clean. Water was clean and shallow. We had great fun swimming. Also, there was a volleyball field and bar in the surrounding.
Content: Rio Museum is a wonderful and small museum. We learned interesting information about Guadiana River. Experience was great.
Content: Villa Romana do Montinho das Laranjeiras is a nice archaeological museum. Ruins were interesting named in Portuguese. The place was historical but some information from the place was lacking.
Content: Checked in Paisagem do Guadiana Turismo Rural hotel. Owners were kind and welcoming. Rooms was clean and basic necessities were available . The view from the terrace was spectacular.
Content: For dinner we visited Casa Merca. Place was amazing and staff was attentive. We ordered rooster with potato and sandwich. Food was flavorful and had typical Portuguese taste. After dinner we returned back to our hotel.
Day 11 - 11 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with a delectable buffet breakfast. We took 30 mins ride to Alcoutim old Castle. path was not in good condition surrounded by weeds. Ruins were incredible and the view of surrounding was magical.
Content: Church is also called Igreja Matriz do Salvador de Alcoutim. Church was serene with wonderful altar. We had a great time there.
Content: Menhires de Lavajo is a fascinating museum with captivating landscape. But the place requires maintenance. Information of the place is missing. The surrounding was vibrant. We enjoyed spending time there.
Content: We took 1 hr ride to Igraja de Nossa Senhora da Conceicao. Church was attractive. Exterior of the chruch was enlivening. Atmosphere was calm.
Content: For dinner we stopped by O Rio restaurant. Staff was decent and service was great. We ordered salad and lamb. Salad was fresh. Lamb was cooked well and tasted heavenly. After finishing our food we returned back to hotel.
Day 12 - 12 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with delightful breakfast and took 1 hr ride to Camera Obscura Tavira. Located on the top of the water tower, the place was amazing. We had great experience watching the city through the camera device. Guide was funny and explained us nicely about the Tavira city.
Content: Castelo de Tavira is elegant castle. Garden inside the castle was beautiful. Ruins of the castle were impressive and castle was filled with great history. We clicked lots of pictures there. The view of the city from the tower was magnificent. Great touristy spot.
Content: Igreja da Misericordia is a wonderful church. Tiles of the church were fascinating. Golden altar was amazing. We had a great time there.
Content: Centro Ciencia Viva de Tavira is a interesting science museum. Staff was nice. We saw different science experiments there. Displays were amazing. Our experience was fantastic.
Content: We checked in Hotel Vila Gale Tavira. Location of the hotel was perfect. Staff was convivial with nice service. Room was spacious and clean.
Content: Dawat Indian Restaurant is great place for dinner. Staff was affable. Food was scrumptious and had lovely indian taste. After finishing dinner we returned back to our hotel.

Content: Started day with a yummy breakfast and headed towards Islamic Museum. Amazing Ethnographic museum. We saw a short movie regarding the history of Tavira city. Artifacts were incredible. Guide explained as well, experience was nice.

Content: For a some adventurous experience we went to Eolis surfing school in Cabanas. Staff was great and we enjoyed learning Kite surfing. We had lot of fun there.

Content: We took 30 mins drive to Vila Real de Santo Antonio Lighthouse. The location of the lighthouse was near the Spanish border. View from the lighthouse was enchanting.
Content: Beach Santo Antonio is a lively beach. The atmosphere was peaceful. There were many shells in the sand. Water of the sea was lovely and we enjoyed swimming there. We spent nice relaxing time there.

Content: For dinner we stopped by Artefact restaurant. Staff was friendly. Food was well-seasoned. Worth visiting. After finishing dinner we returned back to hotel.
Day 14 - 14 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with tasteful breakfast and headed towards Olhao. We took 30 mins ride and visited Quinta de Marim. park was alluring surrounded by beautiful trees. We saw different types of birds there and it was amazing.Tide mill was wonderful. Great picturesque spot.
Content: Church is divine filled with great history. Carving of the church was glorious. Altar of was amazing. Place was religious.
Content: Municipal Museum of Olhao is amazing museum. Building of the museum was impressive. Exhibitions were wonderful and we learned about the history of city. Artifacts were exquisite.
Content: Excellent market with beauteous architecture. The market was filled with different types of vegetables and fishes. The place was also surrounded by many cloth shops and shoes shops. We enjoyed shopping there.
Content: We checked in Real Marina Hotel & Spa. Staff was amiable and service was nice. Room was clean, comfortable and with nice amenities.
Content: Mare - Shrimp & Stuff is a cozy restaurant. Staff was nice and service was good. We ordered Octupus Cataplana which tasted savory. After finishing dinner we returned back to hotel.
Day 15 - 15 Oct 2019
Content: Started day with nice breakfast and took 20 mins drive to Faro Airport. We ended our journey with 13 hr Transavia, KLM flight.
