Day 1 - 17 Feb 2020
Content: We arrived to Porto from Barcelona very early in the morning so we couldn’t check in yet. We decided to go on a stroll and found this beautiful little park where we did a short photoshoot while watching the boats over the Douro river.
Day 1 - 17 Feb 2020
Content: Porto’s Cathedral has an incredible view so we had to climb quite a few stairs to get there, but as you can see, it was totally worth it. Behind it there are some ancient steps where we did a couples shoot and I honestly felt like a princess!
Content: We booked an Airbnb called “Loulé Estúdios” because it had a great kitchen and it was very cheap, but it also was super well located!
Day 2 - 18 Feb 2020
Content: We woke up super early this day so we could be alone when we took these pictures, and it was worth it! The church has a blue and white mosaic design that is so especial
Content: This train station is a must if you’re in Porto. Even though it’s almost impossible to take a picture without people, the historic importance of it makes it worth it.
Content: We walked to the river and crossed it on the Don Luis bridge. It’s such a beautiful place to watch the river boats and just walk by them. We took some time to try out Porto’s famous sweet wine: Porto, in a cute restaurant called “Tempero de Maria”. We loved it 💓
Day 3 - 19 Feb 2020
Content: We took a bus between Porto and Lisboa (about 5 hours) and got into the most beautiful place on earth: Alfama. This neighborhood in the heart of Lisbon is well known for its mosaics on every building. We also visited Lisbon’s Cathedral, Sé de Lisboa.
Content: On every corner of Lisbon we found a more gorgeous place, and we couldn’t resist taking pictures in every park we saw!
Content: By far the highlight of our trip was going to this sushi place. Everything was vegan and the display of the food was outstanding. Can’t recommend it enough: taste was perfect, and it’s owned by the most beautiful people 😍
Day 4 - 20 Feb 2020
Content: Our day began in the most beautiful way: in a castle. This one is located on top of a hill so the views are incredible and you can see all of Lisbon and the Tajo River. There are even peacocks wandering around! 🦚
Content: We took a train to Belem from the center of Portugal and arrived to a dream come true. Walking by the shore of the Tajo River and seeing the “Torre de Belém” from afar is one of the most emotional moments I’ve ever had. On that neighborhood you can also visit the “Mosteiro dos Jerónimos”, which is a gorgeous church you have to visit! Don’t forget to try Portugal’s famous “Pasteis de Belem”, the best ones are in this neighborhood.
Content: We visited this church after a whole day of seeing beautiful buildings so we thought nothing else would surprise us, but it did!! ❤️ it’s stunning, and felt like a princess with her prince there.
Day 5 - 21 Feb 2020
Content: We took a train from Lisbon to Sintra (1 hour) and arrived to Portela de Sintra station. We wanted to see the Palacio da Pena and started walking from there, on the way we saw beautiful spots such as the ones in the pictures.
Day 5 - 21 Feb 2020
Content: This palace was the perfect way to end our trip to Portugal. It showed us that magic does exist in this world ✨ you just need to look for it and it will come to you 💓 To take the perfect pictures you just have to wait for the right time, people here were very friendly and waited for us to take pictures.
Content: After a whole day walking around Sintra it was time to head back to Lisbon’s airport and to our lives in Barcelona. However our hearts will remain there, between castles and magical rivers and beautiful lovely Portuguese people. Don’t forget to buy a small memory from here, as you will want to return all the time.
