Content: Hello from Switzerland!🇨🇭We drove the day before the full day for almost 9 hours from the Netherlands to Zurich, we arrived late in the evening at our Airbnb. This is a picture taken from the car somewhere in France. The next day after waking up and having breakfast in the apartment (we brought a lot of food 😄) we drove to Mount Rigi as our first stop!

Content: After exploring Mount Rigi we drove to our hotel in Luzern to freshen up and to explore the city and also have dinner there. Our one and only dinner outside during the trip 😂 cause it’s so expensive there.

Content: After dinner we walked around the city and headed back to the hotel to rest. The hotel is located a bit outside the city centre, but still doable on foot!

Content: We drove to Zurich to explore the city. We had lunch and spent there until around 2/3 pm before we headed to our next stop.

Content: The next stop was on the way to our real stop which is the Airbnb in Wilderswil. We stopped at this stunning lake to admire the views and also to take some pictures until.. it started to rain like crazy ☔️

Content: Here at the Airbnb we spent the rest of our trip. It is in the middle of the Jungfrau region, so the location was perfect to go exploring different areas in this region. Recommended Airbnb: Steinbock apartment in Wilderswil Look at this amazing view from the apartment! The apartment had 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 kitchen and living room of course. It was spacious and one of the bedrooms had a window in the ceiling to look at stars! 🌟

Content: The next day we made a day trip to the capital of Switzerland! It was a rainy day unfortunately but still we managed to see some spots and take beautiful pictures 🤍 We mostly walked around, had schnitzel for lunch and went to Rosengarten! 🌹

Content: Rosengarten is a beautiful park in Bern. It is located quite high so it offers a wonderful view over the old town of Bern and you can spot all the famous sightings!

Content: Our destination for the fourth day was the famous town from the Korean drama Crash Landing on You 😍 the town of Iseltwald In the beginning it was still rainy and foggy but later on the sun came out🌤

Content: We drove to Interlaken afterwards to check out the city but it was very touristic and we didn’t stay long. It’s mostly tourist shops.

Content: The day to see the famous mountain top… Matterhorn! We made a long drive to Zermatt to spent the day there. Well tecnically you cannot drive all the way to Zermatt since it is a car free village so you park the car before somewhere and then take a train up to the village!

Content: This is the stunning view from Leisee on the Matterhorn mountain. We had a lunch picnic along this lake while enjoying this amazing view!
Blauherd
Content: After lunched we hiked further up and then hiked down again back to the town! It was quite a tough hike but very rewarding views! ⛰

Content: Goodmorning from beautiful Lauterbrunnen! 😍 we drove there and took the cable car up the a mountain village called Mürren.

Content: How breathtaking is this view! We walked around and again did a picnic there and then headed down again to Lauterbrunnen to get the car and drive to the next destination: Gelmersee!

Content: To reach this lake you can either hike or get the Gelmerbahn, which is the steepest cable car in Europe! We took the cablecar up and hiked down during sunset 😍

Content: Grindelwald and Mount First were our next stops for the day! From Grindelwald you can take a cable car up to Mount First and hike to a super beautiful lake as well as do a cliffwalk while encountering so many 🐮 and 🐐 on the way! 😍

Content: Once you’re up at Mount First you’ll encounter soo many cows and here and there also some goats. The views are spectacular! 🤍
Bachalpsee
Content: From the cable car you can hike to this lake called Bachalpsee! Really a stunning like and the hike was not so long and also fun!
First Cliff Walk presented by Tissot
Content: Finally before going down to Grindelwald again, we did the cliffwalk. The cliffwalk is located close to the cable cars.

Day 8 - 8 Aug 2020
Jungfraujoch
Content: Last main stop: the top of Europe!! Jungfraujoch ❄️ be aware to dress well! It was below 10 degrees celsius up there while on ground level it was over 25 degrees celsius! Besides seeing these amazing snowy mountain views there is also an ice sculpture museum that’s pretty cool to check out!

Content: On the way back from Jungfraujoch you’ll pass by some beautiful spots, such as this one😍
Trümmelbachfälle
Content: At the top of the Trummelbach falls you can also enjoy a wonderful view of Lauterbrunnen! See the second picture.
