Content: Started our journey from John F. Kennedy International Airport with a 13 hours Lot Airlines flight to Kyiv Boryspil International Airport. The airport was decent and clean, security check was very tight, staff was not not at all helping. Very few staff members are able to speak English.

Content: Rented a self drive car from airport for our entire journey in Ukraine and took a 1 hour drive to hotel where we checked in. The location is perfect, rooms are clean and cozy, coffee maker was also available, staff was very cool and polite.

Content: Went to the restaurant for dinner in hotel itself, restaurant was recently renovated, food was delicious, live music was great and hospitality was fantastic.

Content: Begin exploring Kyiv with a 10 min drive to Zoloto vorota also known as Golden Gates. It was the main gate of the capital city Kyiv, breathtaking historical architecture with lots of bench all around, the museum had multimedia and English information boards available.

Content: Later driving for about 15 min we reached Saint Sophia Cathedral which is an outstanding architectural monument of Kievan Rus, cathedral is massive and dark, the entrance was really lovely, climbing bell tower is tall and tiring to climb but after reaching there the view is amazing.

Content: On our way to Dnipro river, after 10min drive we took a stop at a restaurant, where we had our lunch. The location was near to river with authentic Ukraine kitchen. We ordered the Borsh and the Olivier Salad it was perfectly cooked and the portion was value for money.

Content: Dnieper River is the longest river of Ukraine, which is now known for its dams and hydroelectric stations. A best place to spend evening watching sunset bird migration, water is very clean and clear. Boat facility is also available.

Content: Maidan Nezalezhnosti also known as Independence Square, is the central square of the capital city kiev. Nice place to visit when fountains are flowing, great place with great deals.

Content: After breakfast with a 30 min drive we reached Kiev Pechersk Lavra, it is the monastery known for its monastic complex for its buried monks and unique underground caves. Great place with lot of historic worth, the caves below are narrow and long can be a problem to move with lot of people but the caves are worth visiting.

Tsars'ke Selo

Content: Before heading towards Ukrainian village we took a stop for our lunch at a authentic Ukrainian cuisine. The place is amazing with beautiful traditional decorations, price was too much but it was worth it. chicken Kiev is a must try good crispy texture and taste.

Content: Ukrainian Village gives opportunity to feel beauty of Ukrainian land and people, here we saw traditional architecture, family life and extremely beautiful nature. Visited a workshop where we learned some folk crafts.

Content: After exploring village, we took a short drive and reached Kyiv Central Station from where we boarded a overnight train to Lviv station. The station was decent and coaches were clean and comfortbale.

Content: After a long journey we reached Lviv Railway Station, the station consists pieces of Art Nouveau architecture in former Galicia.

Content: With a 10 min drive from Lviv Railway Station, we checked in to our hotel, Location was near to downtown, rooms were big and clean, staff was very helpful and hospitality was great.

Content: St. George's Cathedral is the most precious relic church, In the Cathedral's tombs are buried distinguished figures of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church. Place with great architecture and close to city centre. It is very crowded on sunday.

Content: Lviv Organ Hall also known as The Hall of Organ. It is a nice concert hall located in center of city, great music, cheap tickets, and every evening a show is conducted.

Content: Later a took a break and had our lunch at a local restaurant located in the city center. Food was brilliant, and staff was very professional and polite. The restaurant is a gem in Lviv so do booking before visiting.

Content: With a 10 min drive we reached Lychakiv Cemetery which is a open museum, which represents important elements of Lviv's cultural and historical heritage in form of gravestones and family vaults. Great place to walk around and loved the beautiful sculpture and garden.

Content: Headed further towards our last destination which is Rynok Square, here we spent our evening exploring the beautiful streets and watching some themed restaurants. Nothing much to explore but a good place for dinner.

Content: Checked-out from hotel and took a 1 hour drive to Zolochivsʹkyy Zamok also known as Chinese palace. It was built to replace wooden fort, used as a royal residence, a prison, and an educational facility. Beautiful castle with great view and artifacts.

Content: With a 30 min drive we reached Olesko castle, which is a museum located on the boarders of Busk Raion. Great place to gain knowledge about history of old poland, good architecture with amazing artifacts.

Content: After exploring castle visited a restaurant located in the the castle premises. Had lunch with a great view of castle, they served traditional food it was very delicious and hospitality was good.

Content: Pidhirtsi Castle is a most valuable kingdom of Poland known for its palace garden complexes. Beautiful castle with breath taking views, nothing is left to see, castle needs renovation and well management as they charge some amount to visit a castle.

Content: Returned back to Lviv Railway Station, and boarded a 14 hour overnight train to Odessa. City known for its cow boy culture. the station consists pieces of Art Nouveau architecture in former Galicia.

Content: Reached Odessa railway station after a long journey, rented a car and with a 5 min car we reached our hotel where we checked-in. It is located in the heart of the city, nearby shopping center, staff was very helpful and greeting, rooms were huge, clean and comfortable. Just the thing we didn't like is they don't provide kettle for tea or coffee which is charged extra.

Content: Odesʹka Oblasna Filarmoniya known for its outstanding architectural masterpiece located in the center of Odessa. Great architecture and fair concert, there are some steps to climb before reaching to the concert hall, balcony feels hot not good air conditioning.

Content: Odessa Commercial Sea Port is the largest port in Ukraine located in the black sea region. Saw many ships docked at the port and light house exploration tour are also available, nothing much to see on the dock it seems to like a normal port.

Content: With a short walk passing through the streets, reached a local restaurant located in centre of city, where we had our lunch. The place is cozy and staff is very professional, we ordered Italian food which was up to mark.

Content: Odesa Pushkin Museum is is a museum dedicated to the Russian poet Alexander Pushkin. Good small place where we saw old books and the room of famous Russian poet, there is no explanation in English everything is in Russian language.

Content: Odessa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet is the oldest theatre. The place is a true masterpiece of architecture, we watched ballet the sleeping beauty we were impressed by the show, staff was very good and they used to treat everyone as royalty.

Content: After breakfast with a 2 hour drive we reached Bilhorod-Dnister fortress which is also known as Akkerman fortress, it is a historical and architectural monument. Place is renovated, saw Old prison and torture instruments. Visit here with a guide to know the history.

Content: With a short drive from fortress we visited a local restaurant. The place serves best cuisine in Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, waiters are very professional, and the taste of food is amazing. They also have a kinder room good place to visit with kids.

Content: While returning back to Odessa we visited a Wineary, which is a factory where vine tasting is available. Tasted lot of vines and gained some knowledge about different vines and how it is processed. Here the cost of wine was much lesser then the store and many choice were available.

Content: With a 15 min drive from Odessa factory of sparkling wines reached Odessa central train station, where we boarded a overnight train to Kyiv. Journey was extremely comfortable and smooth.

Content: After Disembarking from train we took a short drive and returned airport where we boarded a 13 hour Lot airlines flight to John F. Kennedy International Airport. The flight was extremely comfortable and crew was very helping and always had a smiling face, With a lot of memories of Ukraine we returned back
