Content: You can start your journey from everywhere but remember, it is a long drive and if you are solo and can't swap with another driver, it can be tiering. I drove for about 3 hours - had a break and a small hike and then drove for other 2hours. A good music playlist will help!

Content: I pitched my tent in a camping called Applejacks Alpacas - i was the very first visitor, therefore alone (see later) and then visited Polperro, which was only 10 min Drive. Polperro is a small fishermen village with a huge carpark at the entrance - make sure you have coins with you! Then you'll walk to the centre where small restaurants and bars overlook to the harbour. Nice to walk and have some food sitting in one of the benches in front of the sea.

Content: This is where I pitch the first night - the camp was empty and I was the first visitor. Very simple camping, ideal for minimalist (only a chemical toilet and not electricity). The alpacas are kept in the field next to the camping site and they are super cute. Patrick, the owner was extremely nice and welcoming, he gave me 12liters of drinkable water. Just a note - the road to go up here is not easy - very narrow and sometimes steep, if you meet a tractor, be ready to revers for metres and meters...

Content: National trust carpark ( S W Coast Path, Fowey PL23 1NP). At about 10 min drive from Polperro, you'll find beautiful beaches. The first walk was very easy and short. Once you pass the gate, you'll walk on a tree-made tunnel till the next gate, then head west and Lansallos beach. As the access is very easy, it might be crowded

Content: Instead of heading west after the gate, take the opposite path and walk for about 1 hour to reach this white sand beach. You might meet cows or other wild animals on your way. The last km is very steep and a bit scary but c'mon.. you want to dig your foot in that sand, don't you? N.B there are two national trust carparks. The Lantic bay national trust carpark gives you access to this beach after a very short walk. If you like hiking, I would recommend the first carpark, near Lansallos

Content: 2 hours drive again and to get restored, I spent a night in this cute barrell.. yes, a barrel! I made myself an aperitif and drank a beer watching the sea. The barrel was tiny but very functional and comfortable. The peace of that place... You can't imagine! I really had a wonderful night. Then in the morning the sun rises just in front of you.. magic!

Content: I stopped in Exeter for the night and then drove back home stopping by Bristol for lunch. I drove about 1500 km, reversed for maybe 2, and walked for about 44km, read a book, felt thousands of emotions and made the same as memories! I spent less than £200 in accommodation and about £100 in fuel.
