Day 1 - 2 May 2022
Content: There are a million amazing places to stay in London - Covent Garden is the perfect place to base yourself and the ME Hotel is a great spot. If you’re looking for something a little cheaper then try the Z Hotels (just make sure the room has a window!)
Content: Wander around the famous Covent Garden Piazza and the not so well known colourful Neal’s Yard. Grab lunch at any one of the amazing cafe spots in this area!
Content: Walk straight down the Strand (which turns into Fleet St) from Covent Garden until you reach St Paul’s cathedral. Grab a coffee in Soho Coffee for amazing views!
Content: From St Paul’s, walk across the Millenium Bridge (amazing views!) and down into Borough Market. The market is closes at 5pm weekdays & Saturdays and at 3pm on Sundays. Even if you manage to resist all of the amazing food & drinks here it’s still a great place to experience!
Content: After the market wander round the corner to Park Street where you’ll find the Anchor pub along the river. Grab a drink and stand outside where you have amazing views of the river, city, Shard and more!
Content: If you’re staying at the ME - Radio Rooftop is on your rooftop so is the perfect way to start your evening! The sparkling sangria is the best!
Content: A short walk round the corner you’ll find Clos Maggiore - voted one of the most romantic restaurants in the city for good reason!
Day 2 - 3 May 2022
Content: Head up on the northern line to Camden Market and spend the morning wandering around this great area! Grab lunch up here at one of the many spots.
Content: From Camden you can either take a 25 min walk or the northern line tube back down to Kings Cross where you’ll find Coal Drops Yard. This place is great to wander round and see, maybe grab a drink too!
Content: From Kings Cross you can take the northern line to Old Street and then you’ll have a 10 minute walk to Boxpark. This a shipping container complex with multiple bars and food places!
Content: From Boxpark walk to Maya for dinner on the rooftop with amazing views! If you’re feeling drinks after then Shoreditch is the place to be!
Day 3 - 4 May 2022
Content: A lesser known and very different area of London is Little Venice - spend the morning wandering the canals and enjoying the peace & quiet!
Content: Grab lunch or a coffee from one of the food spots around the amphitheatre for a different feel!
Content: 5 mins walk from the amphitheatre you’ll find the popular Pergola - if you didn’t eat already here is a good place for food & a drink!
Content: Take a 30 minute walk or a 10 minute Uber down to one of the most famous and pretty pubs - Churchill Arms! Even if you don’t stop in the flower display outside is worth seeing - it’s also one of the older pubs in the city!
Content: Seeing as you’re this side of town - take an Uber down to Harrods and wander the store for a while!
Content: Make a reservation at Sketch for dinner and drinks - there’s multiple rooms and themes to choose from and it’s a must-do place! It’s also famous for its pod toilets!
Day 4 - 5 May 2022
Content: Take a tube down to Brixton this morning - this isn’t a usual tourist destination but it’s one of the popular places to live as a young London professional so it has a fun vibe! Check out the Village and grab some food here. Walk around Electric Avenue and Coldharbour Lane too!
Content: Another lesser known spot are the Leake Street tunnels full of graffiti! Take the tube up to Waterloo (you’ll have to change tubes) from Brixton and wander around!
Content: From the tunnels walk along embankment and cross Westminster Bridge for views of Big Ben and Parliament.
Content: From Parliament walk up Birdcage Walk towards the Palace and then continue down The Mall towards Trafalgar Square.
Content: Once in Trafalgar Square head up to The Rooftop for amazing views & a drink - make sure you have a reservation here!
Content: Finish your night with dinner & drinks at LSQ with more amazing London views!
Day 5 - 6 May 2022
Content: Head down to St Katherine’s Dock’s in the east for an amazing viewpoint of Tower Bridge and a lesser known area of London
Content: Stop in at another of London’s old pubs - the Dicken’s Inn which you’ll find in the marina area!
Content: While you’re in the area stop in at the Tower for a tour! You can buy tickets before online or from the ticket booths outside the entrance. Allow a few hours for the tour.
Content: A few minutes walk from the tower you’ll find the little known church of Saint Dunstan. The gardens are a popular photo spot with those who know and are in contrast to the modern glass buildings surrounding it!
Content: Weather it’s dark or light when you head up here the views are amazing as is just the interior of Sky Garden! You’ll need to book a time slot before showing up.
Content: After a few drinks at Sky Garden head down the road to the NED. There are multiple restaurants in here with different cuisines and music until midnight. This used to be the bank so you can still see the vault downstairs!
Day 6 - 7 May 2022
Content: A famous spot for breakfast to check off and expect a queue to get in! There’s several locations around the city but Soho is closest to Covent Garden.
Content: A trip to London probably isn’t complete without strolling down Oxford St so spend a few hours wandering this famous street!
Content: Ending your Oxford St experience at Marble Arch will give you the chance to climb ‘the mound’ which was finished early 2021 to attract more visitors - its free to climb and has some decent views!
Content: Grab a relatively early dinner in the heart of Chinatown to experience the buzz of this area! There are countless restaurants serving Chinese, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Malaysian etc and so far we haven’t found a bad one!
Content: Maybe it’s saving one of the best & most popular rooftops until last, but you can’t leave London without visiting Madison for perfect views of St Paul’s and some great cocktails! You’ll definitely need to make a reservation here first.
