Day 1 - 23 Mar 2021
Content: If you enjoy an intimate boutique hotel experience, you will LOVE the Boardwalk Aruba Boutique Hotel! With 43 private casitas to choose from , 2 beautiful pool areas and daily breakfast and lunch options available through Eduardo’s Beach Shack, it is the perfect tropical oasis! Our casita had a kitchenette complete with a cooktop, microwave, kitchen utensils and even an outdoor charcoal grill making it a perfect spot for families or anyone looking to cut back on dining out !
Day 2 - 24 Mar 2021
Content: Boardwalk guests have their own designated beach area on Palm Beach, adjacent to the Ritz Carlton..an easy 5 minute walk across the street from the hotel. Guests of the Boardwalk also have use of the Ritz beach service for food & drink with a very nice 15% discount! I can recommend the Mojitos 😉
Content: Palm beach has about 2 miles of soft white sand for walking with plenty of spots for food & drink along the way. Check out the Pelican Pier or Bugaloe with daily happy hour featuring entertainment. There’s also a boardwalk that meanders through many of the beautiful hotels & resorts along Palm Beach, making it easy and convenient to view other properties or stop for a drink.
Day 3 - 25 Mar 2021
Content: If you’re ready for a break from the beach, check out Aruba Outdoor Adventures for fantastic kayak and snorkel excursions! We had the absolute best day exploring the Spanish Lagoon Area by pedal kayak. RJ, the owner and guide is a natural and knowledgeable story teller with a true passion for his island and it’s marine life ! You’ll end your adventure feeling as though you’ve made a new friend! There’s a reason Aruba is referred to as One Happy Island!
Day 4 - 26 Mar 2021
Content: The Palm Beach area is also where you’ll find a mecca of restaurants and shops to satisfy just about any tastes. This was a quick visit for us and we really didn’t dine here other than drinks and appetizers at the recently opened The Vue rooftop bar & restaurant. As the name implies, there are gorgeous sunset views from the location..just be prepared for some very mighty winds. Ladies, bring a hair tie and hold onto your dresses!
Day 4 - 26 Mar 2021
Content: The area is fun and vibrant with plenty to see and do, along with some fun photo spots!
Day 5 - 27 Mar 2021
Content: Our favorite restaurant and meal by far was at the beautiful Barefoot Restaurant located on the beach a bit beyond downtown Oranjestad. You should make a reservation in advance for a bit before sunset and request a table on the sand! Everything we ordered was absolutely perfect and the service was fabulous. I love nothing more than al fresco dining with a glorious view…what about you? We chose to rent a car on this trip, but taxis are readily available if you opt not to rent/drive. Check out Ricardo at Yess Car Rental for great service with a smile.
Day 7 - 29 Mar 2021
Content: Aruba lies outside of the hurricane belt and is well known for it’s year round consistently beautiful weather . This also makes it a very popular destination for both weddings and honeymoons! There are all varieties of stunning properties to choose from on the island. Everything from laid back romantic all inclusives on quieter Eagle Beach, to time share apartments, mega all inclusive resorts, high rise hotels and of course my personal favorite the smaller, more intimate Boardwalk Aruba Boutique Hotel! Whatever you decide, I hope you fall in love with this special One Happy Island, just I have.
