Content: If you’re already in Banff with a car and camping gear great! If not you’ll want to make your way here from Vancouver or Calgary! Pick up you national parks pass and spend the day checking out the town! Be sure to check out the Banff gondola, vermillion lake and the main town

Castle Mountain
Content: A tough but rewarding hike up the best looking mountain in Banff. The view from the top is spectacular and well worth the struggle to get there. Bring plenty of water and bear spray!
Location: Lake Louise
Day 2 - 7 Apr 2022
Lake Louise
Content: Take the morning to head to the stunning Lake Louise. The water is bright blue and the surrounding hikes are beautiful. Make sure to walk up to the view point and if you go for sunrise you might spot a few bears and the lake is very quiet.

Day 2 - 7 Apr 2022
Moraine Lake
Content: Once you’ve finished at lake Louise head to moraine lake. This was by far my favourite lake in this trip. The water was amazing! Hire a kayak here to explore the lake. It’s well worth it!

Athabasca Glacier
Content: This section of the ice field parkway is incredible. Head to this amazing glacier. You can see how far it’s receded over the years and even drive on it if you chose to. Or book a helicopter ride to see it from heights.

Day 4 - 9 Apr 2022
Sunwapta Falls
Content: By far one of my favourite waterfalls. The view is just spectacular! And the way it’s formed is super cool.

Bridal Veil Falls
Content: Another beautiful waterfall along this road it bridal vail falls. Spend the afternoon exploring here and the surrounding areas. There are some nice hikes nearby.

Day 5 - 10 Apr 2022
Jasper
Content: Jasper is amazing! I recommend spending at least a day and a half here, there’s so much to do and it’s filled with wildlife so take time to walk around and get a little lost. The town is very small and less busy than Banff so enjoy the peace and quiet before heading home.

Maligne Lake
Content: Watch the birds, check out spirit island or sail the sparkling blue waters. This lake is paradise and definitely deserves a spot in your list!

Content: In the afternoon make the drive back to Banff and enjoy your last evening in a cocktail bar watching the sunset.
