Content: Drove up to Cypress Mountain, and of course had to stop at this little lookout on the way up for views of the city. There was a cloud inversion and we could see all the way to Mount Baker, and normally you can see all of Vancouver.

Content: This is a gorgeous, relatively easy hike with astonishing views of Howe Sound. The trail starts from the Cypress Ski Area. You have to get a backcountry pass from Cypress, and then you’re good to go! Just remember to pack snacks, water and your ten essentials for backcountry hiking. Round trip: 10.5km Elevation gain 587m

Content: This cute little restaurant in downtown Squamish has a lovely patio and an awesome vibe.
Content: Since I have a place in Squamish, my friends and I usually stay there, however, for those that don’t have the option Squamish has an amazing hostel in town!

Content: This popular cafe is a great place to grab breakfast. Frequented by locals with their dogs, and digital nomads working away on their laptops, it’s bustling all day.
Content: This is an unmissable Squamish classic! An hour or two of hard, steep hiking brings you to the spectacular summit of the Chief. Bring snacks and lots of water. You can do the first peak, second peak, third peak, or all three. Round trip: 6km Elevation gain: 654m
Content: A classic stop in Squamish, you can sit on the patio and look up at the chief that you just climbed. This brewery has been around since 1996 and is a favourite of locals and tourists alike.

Content: This is a fun little obstacle course right near the hostel. Exhilarating and super fun, and the staff was so friendly!
Content: This adorable little cafe serves great coffee, amazing sandwiches, and an array of mouth watering donuts.
Content: One of my favourite places for easy access mountain views when your legs are sore. Have a beer on the patio and enjoy the easy walk along the panorama trail to the viewing platform. The summit lodge serves dinner, and it’s a great place to enjoy a meal on the patio.
Day 4 - 15 Jul 2021
Content: About 6 km up the trail passes the first cabin you come up onto Paul Ridge and have spectacular mountain views for the next 5km of the hike. A dip in the lake at the top feels amazing, so bring your swimsuit and towel! Round trip: 20.1km Elevation gain: 821m

Content: My favourite beers in Squamish! I love their fruity sours. You can get a flight and try multiple beers, and their pizza hits the spot after an amazing hike.

Content: The Elaho trip was such a blast! Exhilarating, adventurous, and fun. And they had goats at the spot where we got checked in and suited up!

Content: This lake is incredible! Like all of these hikes, it can get busy during the weekend but there’s plenty of space along the shoreline to hang out and take a chilly dip! Round trip: 18.2km Elevation gain: 972m

Content: The most beautiful little riverside patio, and their food is so so good! It’s an amazing place to relax and enjoy the view.

Content: I adore this little coffee shop. And it’s right across from the gas station make sure you fill up since you don’t want to be stuck on the Duffey with an empty tank!

Content: Shocked at how busy and crowded this one was, but well worth the views. We found some space along the shore to go for an icy dip and it was so good! Round trip: 10.9km Elevation gain: 880m I believe this hike now needs permits. You can find all that information on the BC Parks website!

Content: All food on their menu is $5.95 and absolutely delicious. Order one or two dishes depending on how hungry you are, and if you’re feeling like celebrating an epic week, you can order and inception shot from the secret menu. Just make sure you have someone stay sober to drive, the inception counts as 4 drinks!
